People do the strangest things for the oddest reasons. Case in point, an exhaust upgrade purely for self-serving reasons...a 5 HP gain not-withstanding. See why I spent over 400 bucks just so I could be happy.

I’ve been looking for a homemade in depth video with the 7 speed. Thanks! It sounds great!

Thanks for watching. It doesn't quite have the deep rumble that I was hoping for, but it is a 4 cylinder after all so there's that. It has been really enjoyable to drive being able to get a little audible feedback. I'm glad I did it and yes it does sound good.

Nice review! I added an aftermarket exhaust to my v6 bronco and it really woke it up…..I’ll have to admit I’m not a huge fan of the v6 or 4 cyl sounds and prefer a v8 rumble …..but considering a noticeable power improvement it seems worth hearing the v6….its not terrible but a bit louder than I was hoping for…

I was surprised to discover the same thing, that I did have a small boost in power. There are not many inline fours or v6s that sound really good. But I did notice that the Corsa exhaust on a channel that I follow sounds really good on his V6. On this inline 4, It sounds pretty good. It is just slightly louder than I would have liked but here we are. It certainly isn't annoying even inside the cab so I'll take it 😁. Thanks for sharing!

How are you liking it after 4 months? Did you notice any droning, rust or leaks?
@blackpearlvoyager41746 ай бұрын
After 4 months it's actually sounding a little better, not louder, just better. No rusts or leaks that I can tell. It's good quality stainless steel material I think. As far as droning, I haven't noticed any natural droning tendencies. However, I do notice it under some certain circumstances like when I'm doing about 50 mph and 5th gear. Maybe pulling up a slight grade. It'll give you somewhat of a drone but as soon as you pick up the RPMs (take a gear down) or back off the pedal, the droning just goes away. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼

Auto is still better. That manual in those is garbage

Sounds like maybe you've had a negative experience with these transmissions, in that case. I'm sorry to hear that. So far mine has worked flawlessly shifts nicely. Very smooth and we have been enjoying it but I've been driving cars with stick shifts for 50 years now 😆 for us this has been one of the best! Thanks for watching and sharing 🤙🏼

@blackpearlvoyager4174 actually I haven't add I bad experience with the Bronco manual. And I've many of manuals myself. But the throw is long and feels just like a 90's f150. The clutch is by far easier for sure. But the transmission itself doesn't hold a flame to the auto. There's a reason ford scrapped the manual in Bronco.

@@mariowells8647 Other than for a short period....Ford hasn't "scrapped" the manual in the Bronco.
