Why are the two sections(incubator and hatcher using the same controller? I thought on day 18 the humidity must increase inside the hatcher and remain on 45-55 on the incubation side

This is a combo unit, incubating and hatching is done in the same machine. You are correct humidity is increased to 65% on day 18. We have not found this to be a problem on the eggs still in the incubator side. Our commercial machines have separate hatchers
