When I was younger I'd always associate this song with exes until I finally grew up and realised it was about addiction, the hard way. This song has always been so powerful in the sense it's so raw with emotion, somehow this makes it that much more powerful. Thank you Melodika Bros once again for such an outstanding cover.

Man, reminds me of this girl I've wanted to date for almost a decade now. We met when we were about 12-13 and now we're both adults and I still haven't moved on. She's repeatedly played with my feelings, toyed around with me, made me look and feel bad, yet somehow, I still love her. I'll never figure out why. Finally though, on August 19, of this year, I walked away, blocked her on everything and haven't looked back since. Somehow though, even almost three months later, she hasn't escaped my mind for more than a few days. Sorry to anyone reading this, songs like these just bring me back to that. It's nice to get it off my chest sometimes. I love this version! Edit: For anyone reading this, since writing it I've unblocked her. We've become friends again and things are going well. I still have feelings for her but I'm working to get over that, time away from her is only a detriment to that cause for me. She'll always hold a special place in my heart, but that doesn't mean we can't still be friends.
