She SPEAKs French, you are right, it is her style, I quite often sing like that. There is just too much of singing like this in France even though the market/people are ready for singing singers :) No need to be `sorry`.Everyone has its own opinion and I respect yours.

@@juliabuuut I do respect yours, no problem, and i am not a specil fan of Melody Gardot, i came here after a video of Audrey Hepburn with Moon river in soundtrack....but you were making such errors..1/ She's not french and that i dont care, 2/ France is NOT in lack of good female singers with a real voice, i showd you one, but there are a lot, take a look at the "Michel Polnareff night", he gave the occasion to young singers to sing some famous sogs... so..just don't say it, ther's enough stupidities here on KZbin without adding others ...;+) Anyway, no offense, Happy New Year and greetings from Paris...
