This is very very impressive. What a good time to be alive!

I can say that this is hands-down, the best library I've ever owned and I've owned many many libraries. There's nothing like a physically modeled instrument. I'm waiting for what comes next.

I love SWAM. Was really inspired by the live demos. So I also got the breath controller. Sure sounds great here. Nicely presented.

I just bought the all in bundle... The instruments are extremely good. You won't want to play anything else.

All the instruments sound great! I like the way you varied the bow position and bow pressure to vary the sound quality of the string instruments. I use the bite sensor (MIDI: CC1) on my Electronic Wind Instrument to get vibrato when playing the Swam cello, so it was interesting to see it done in this video with the bend sensor. I'm guessing you used a wheel or a control on a keyboard to do this.

Baddest plugin on the market

Impressive! Lots of variables being changed continuously here: it would be useful to know what was used to control all these.

Thank you for the comment on my video. I programmed all the notes, MIDI CC messages manually by mouse and (computer) keyboard.

So is it better to use pitch shift wheel for vibrato instead of the mod wheel..?
@AudioModeling2 жыл бұрын
It's different, and depends on the physical control you have: ModWheel controls the amount of an LFO that generates a vibrato oscillation; PitchBend controls the pitch directly. Using a wheel to perform a vibrato is not effective, i.e. hard to achieve the right "shape" of the oscillation, while using a ribbon or a Seaboard, for example, it's more natural. Of course, PitchBend must not be used to perform vibrato on a flute.

were you using breath control or hand tracking with this? Or just drawn in automation?
@AudioModeling11 ай бұрын
We don't remember the technique used by aslam+ , probably detailed automation editing in a DAW. Everyone can use different ways: you can record the notes and then going with each parameter automation one by one, assigning a fader or a knob,...or you use breath controllers, pedals in real time performance and editing the result later. Whatever works for you and gives the best results.
