probably melody's darkest song, perhaps not in the meaning. but the tone is so mysterious, it reminds me of something i can't quite describe; it feels like a dream.

There's a lot of context missing cuz Unfold doesn't really date each song and the original singles got taken down a while back in preparation for Unfold's release, so it's hard to find out what Melody was going through when she was working on it.

@@MarikoRawralton yep, that's true. i suppose art is subjective, but i would really like to see melody talk about what she felt when writing and making the songs in unfold. it's probable she didn't make them all at once, though; as in, maybe she made them throughout the same year, but her circumstances changed. anyway, we don't have enough information so these are just speculations.

@@maizzztupid We know that part of Unfold was done with Kevin Parker, who assisted her on her eponymous release, but the relationship kinda fell apart when he started getting credit for the entire album, as well as some personal issues between them. That's why it sounds more like the eponymous release than anything from Bon Voyage or Emotional Eternal. Considering how rough the rest of the songs are, I'd imagine Pink into Blue is probably the "most complete" and probably "first" song they did. Shirim from Bon Voyage came out at that time, so that was probably part of Unfold too before it was moved to Bon Voyage. Je Me Perds Du Vue would've been part of it too, but she reportedly forgot about the song, at least according to her Instagram story.

@@maizzztupid No, I found it on a Mexican facebook fanpage. Melody's Echo Chamber is really big in Mexico, so she has a considerable Spanish language following that Domino wasn't able to get to when they started taking videos down last year. Melody actually announced a Mexico City show a while back iirc.
