Good review, Rob. While I don't gig, as a spectator at shows for 45 years, I appreciate what IEMs have done for stage volumes and the hearing health of the audience. I have seen some crazy videos of what different musicians have in their mix for their IEMs - it really can be tailored to the musician and role in the band they have. My takeaway here is that you can get functional (maybe not pro-level) gear for pretty cheap these days - the tech creates amazing value.

Thanks for watching Dan, yep that's pretty much a great way of summing it up! Even thinking about getting IEM's for your own practicing at home can really be eye opening and beneficial and you don't have to go the whole fully molded thing either.

@@aminorerror Since I tend to use NDSP plugins for practicing, would you suggest plugging in headphones to my audio interface? My wife would probably love that!!

Oh yea that would totally work but you might find that the weight and way the headphones hang on your head will become cumbersome and uncomfortable kinda quick. At least I could never stand it lol That's where going with something like this and something like a pair of Shure 215 monitors will be a lot more comfortable and then you'd be wireless and free to move around without worrying about tugging on the wire.

The one amazinng thing about the Melonare PM-1 don't believe you highlighted, is that they support 560-580ghz frequency if experiencing interference with other devices

What’s the latency time?

Can't find any official info on the latency, it's not noticeable in my opinion so it's gotta be just a new milliseconds.

@@aminorerror Supposed to be "0", if not noticeable
