I may not play a lot of those games I mentioned other than Onimusha 3, original Shadow of the Colossus, and Guilty Gear: Isuka while still wishing for Concrete Genie to get out from its PS4 exclusivity and playing Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart in my PC one day (Game is still considered as unoptimized for my PC) but I know most of them since browsing video games and watching walkthroughs used to be my hobby in my spare times or holidays as a kid

I love that Agis is in this game even though Persona is no longer a Sony exclusive third party franchise. Agis is a robot character that is more human than most people and is perfect for this game

The only reason that persona 3 reload is not on the Switch is because they are probably going to release the game on the Switch 2, just like most other companies save their games for the Switch 2

There's still such games but they're not nearly as known and mainly made by the smaller developers. For 3D stuff, i can recommend looking into the likes of Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, No Straight Roads, Hi-Fi Rush, Genokids, Lost in Random, Gori: Cuddly Carnage, Resistor, Yasuke: A Lost Descendant and Enenra: Daemon Core. Though i would want to mention Soulstice too, yet that one is quite self-serious like Darksiders... yet also over-the-top like Darksiders (with gameplay influences from DMC and Bayonetta). Oh, and with 3D platformers there's stuff like Rad Venture, Ruffy and the Riverside, The Big Catch and Double Shake (kind of). For 2D stuff there's games like Decline's Drops, Kraino Rebirth, Bad Boro, Cookie Cutter (personal favourite), My Familiar, Immortal: And the Death that Follows, Loco Motive, Near-Mage, Pillory,... and so much more. And even some stopmotion games, or at least made with handcrafted environments somewhere along there. Like Harold Halibut, Judero and whatever Amanita Design and Moonhood Studio are working on. I try my best to spread word on these lesser-known ones as much as i can.

The problem is not that the games arent being made (the Steam Marketplace is full of them) , its that the big publishers arent doing as much as they should, especially with dev cycles and budget balloning. Sony themselves may have published this , but they played probably the biggest part on that craze with their HBO strategy of "blockbuster prestige products full of drama and characters" and looking how trying to use that strategy to use on live service games is as of today 50/50, they should reconsider their future investments.

I really hope the responses from people seeing all their favorite franchises referenced in this game is enough to convince Sony that it'll be worth it to bring many of these old franchises back. Stuff like Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Bloodborne, Gravity Rush, Little Big Planet (I know SABA exists, but the actual Little Big Planet Franchise has been long abandoned by Sony), and so many more are all past due for new installments and the fans have been extremely vocal already about how much they want them to return in a modern capacity

@CarbyGuuGuu I love platformers but even Mario Galaxy is over double the time to beat Astro Bot 100% same with Sunshine, and another platformer that is longer is a Hat in Time so it being a platformer is not an excuse. @@CarbyGuuGuu They are NOTORIOUSLY stingy with their licensing for FF stuff, especially 7. It's not even solely a matter of money so much as it is how it's portrayed. The Buster Sword in Playroom wasn't just all the devs were willing to do, it was likely all that Square-Enix would LET them do. Even fucking Nintendo could barely get a total of twelve music tracks into Smash Bros Ultimate (with two grandfathered in via Smash 4) and only DLC Spirits, and most of those were implied to be Sakurai pulling teeth while getting Sephiroth ready.
