I'm glad I'm not the only one rooting for Avery and Juliette. I've been wanting them to get together ever since she kissed him drunkenly on her tour bus. Then their chemistry just kept building up and I think Avery always knew he was falling for her as time was going on but when she told Charlie he was just someone on her payroll that hurt him so he pulled away cause he didn't think he would ever break down her walls, I think this last episode he saw her walls shattering and he wanted to be there for her again but he already started this thing back up with Scarlet (who I want to be with Gunner) I seen it in his eyes when he asked her to leave the thing Teddy was holding he really didn't want to leave with her but he felt like he had no other choice cause I feel like he still has some feelings for Scarlet just not the feelings he has for Juliette. I think he started crying when Juliette started to tell him her feelings because she was finally feeling for him what he felt for her. I really hope come January they finally let Juliette be happy and stop giving herself to anyone and everyone and just let her be with Avery.

Yes Avery was really hurt when Juliette said he was just on the payroll....he was probably already in love with her then.....but he never showed it. I like to read articles now ,that were written when the show was actually on ....and one article or interview I read said that when Avery went back to Scarlett of course he thought he was in love with her....but realized he was in love with Juliette!.... But the best article I read was an interview with one of the shows creators, or writers or maybe even the EP....where it was stated the Avery and Juliette were endgame from the start , they were just going to be a slow burn!!😊...and in another interview with JJ he states that Avery has never loved ANYONE like he loves Juliette, OMG!🤪🤗😥......but I think in S6/ (I don't remember what episode) where Avery describes Juliette as his" reason 4 drawing breathe" and when he was asking GOD for help when he told Deacon " And I love her , GOD help me!" shows just how much he loved her ,yet he had to protect himself from her so having an idea of how the PTB saw things helps when I watch Nashville again now!..
