appreciate it! you could add a scene time node instead of the "factor" input. You could also put a math node set to multiply in between in order to adjust the speed. hope this helps :)

I would say thickness should have changed from thick to thin while melting... because of the melting point. You don't have any boundaries for chocolate, so it just melts around. But while it cools down on the edges it can increase thickness :)
