Side note on the liquid lipsticks, they are lip stains. So that stain is very intentional, if that helps. It’a a transformative formula, meant to give you 2 different looks in one 🖤🖤🖤

Betelgeuse is such a strange, quirky and awesome movie (& as a licensed property, too). IMHO, it's a movie before it's time. Truly. A timeless classic. 💜💜💜💜 I'm glad Melt did a such a good job with this collection. I was worried because their palettes can be hit & miss for me. I never expected that this collection would be so incredibly massive. 💚💚💚💚 I'm going to wait until they come to Sephora. I'm excited to see both palettes in person. Love your creativity! Melt nailed the theme, packaging, and coming up with a collection that offers a lot that probably isn't already in a makeup collectors stash. I hear you on metallic lips, I think it's something to do with light and shadow because there tends to be a lot of dark intense shift vs a controlled contour or highlight. I'm really curious how the Melt metallic lippies compare to the old kvd everlasting glimmer veil lippies. Sounds like similar staining but the Melt are reading more molten, at least on screen. But hard to say without side by side comparison.

I'm going to be trying my hand at getting all 3 of the liners, I love their liner formula and really like that it's a multi-purpose item since it can be used as a cream shadow and all as well! I actually *LOVE* the colors (and it's so fun that all three go really well with the shroud x beautbean palette which i can't wait to arrive) and even though they're so wild I still want them all over my body. Actually, things have been super rough this season with Covid and all for me money wise, and I talked about being really upset that I wouldn't be able to get a single piece from this collection even though it's a movie that means a lot to me, like it truly hurt (which sounds so dumb but it was a big part of my childhood and my gateway to loving more grim and horror films), and, god bless her, one of my best friends from high school saw it and reached out and sent me money to purchase them as a holiday gift from her and the absolute tears like I had a breakdown. Now this movie means even more to me because now I have a NEW warm memory attached to it. I'm so glad it was Melt that got to do this collab, they nailed literally everything, like especially the Beetlejuice themed palette! I think my only thing is like...I don't quite get why 'The Waiting Room' had 10 shades and 'Recently Deceased' only has 8, like I think it could have used another two colors, mostly because the 8 they chose were actually great colors and I would have loved to see either 2 more really out there shades or 2 colors that kinda tied the top and bottom together

I’ve seen a few people use this collection - the eye shadows look patchy and chalky AF. The purple liner is nice. Lipsticks look the same as many others. So glad I didn’t buy it.

I discovered your video here on my "recommended" feed, by the way. Very likely of course because I've been looking for videos on the Beetlejuice collection! You gained a subscriber in me too, your eye shape is so similar to mine and it's rather hard to find any other youtubers with the same eyeshape who does makeup videos (Annette's Makeup Corner is one of them!). My eyes are super hooded but with extremely tiny mobile lids (almost monolid especially one eye).
