If you use unsalted butter, you may add extra 1/2 teaspoon of salt to bring out the flavour.

Better use all purpose flour, if use whole grain flour, it may have different texture. You may cut about 5-8g of sugar, most important is to choose less sugar pineapple filling.

Thank you for your support! 1. Any brand of milk powder should be fine. Full cream is okay. I use milk powder from the shop selling baking ingredients. 2. Add all purpose flour if the dough is wet and sticky, add gradually until it is not sticky and can form ball.

6g dough, 4g pineapple filling. Pineapple filling I use the ready-to-use one, can get it at ingredients shop.😊

I use 1 tsp for dough, 1/2 tsp for paste…1/2 tsp pineapple paste is around 3-4g…🙂

I followed your recipe and my dough is very firm and not as soft as yours. Is it the cold weather? I have added 3 tbsp water and is trying and will let u know.

Hi. It maybe due to different brand of butter and flour. You may try not to add flour in one go. If the dough is very firm, try add some softened butter or corn oil.

You can substitute it with soy milk powder, or just normal flour also can. But without milk powder, the flavour, texture and richness of the pineapple tarts may be different. 🙂
