Cake flour and whipped cream make this cake extremely light and tender. Fill with your favorite frosting or serve with fresh fruit. This is exceptionally moist and tender cake.
This old-fashioned dessert contains no butter or oil; instead, whipped cream gives the cake its melt-in-your-mouth texture and subtle floral flavor.
Whipping Cream Pound Cake Recipe is crusty on the outside and velvety smooth on the inside.
Both dense and moist, this Whipping Cream Pound Cake Recipe is a tried and true cake recipe that will become your family favorite!
This pound cake is very dense and moist. The batter is thick and it takes a long time to bake. It’s is worth the wait. The pound cake is ‘crusty’ on the outside and has a soft, tender texture and small crumb inside. You’ll be tempted to take the cake out the outside is golden brown. Do not. Test it carefully (without moving the cake too much) with a small, long wooden skewer. The cake is done with no crumbs or dry crumbs are on the skewer
INGREDIENTS -
ALL PURPOSE FLOUR - 2¼ CUP (272 gm)
BAKING POWDER - 2 TSP
WHIPPING CREAM - 1½ CUP (348 gm)
EGG - 3
VANILLA EXTRACT - 1 TSP
SUGAR - 1½ CUP
Note : It take me 30 min to bake but every oven is different. Check your cake after 30-35 min by piercing a wooden skewer. If it came out clean then your cake is ready but if not then you can bake for further 10-15 min and check again.

@@shamimaaktermoon290 I believe 3/4 cup will be sufficient for this quantity. If the mixture become more dry then add more whipped cream for appropriate texture.

I have made this recipe twice ,one time with 1 and half cup of sugar ,it was verrrry sweet and very tender ,an other time i used 1 cup it was perrrrrfect and wooooow

One of the best cakes I've baked! I used gluten free all purpose flour & it came out super crusty on the outside & super fluffy & soft on the inside! Great recipe!! 👏👏

I used Non dairy heavy cream with exact same amount and baked the cake in a Bundt mold. It came out beautiful and my gosh, the cake is so moist, soft and like you mentioned, it melts in my mouth. Thank you so much for the excellent recipe

A highly recommended recipe!😍 I can see some dislikes for this recipe😒. I seriously don't understand what is there to dislike in this. Tried this cake! It was amazing! Although it took 45 min to bake properly! I added melted chocolate on top of my cake too.. highly recommend this one!

The description says cake flour but in the ingredients list you mentioned all purpose flour. What did you actually use? Mine is in the oven, my batter volume is significantly more than yours, it filled up the baking dish up to the brim. Hope it turns out beautifully

Beautiful Cake, nice and easy to make. Although the cooking time needed longer, left it for 40 mins could have done with another 5-10 max @ 375F

Hey , Thanks for watching 🙂 In the case of whipped cream, it's preferable to start with cold dairy because the fat globules emulsify faster and stay emulsified longer . Good luck and let me know how it goes 🙂👍

Wish u too a very happy new year 😃 well i have not tried this recipe with non dairy whipping cream but i believe that this recipe will work for non dairy whipping cream but you need to check the fat content and if non dairy cream is low in fat then u will need to add butter and milk for smooth texture. I baked this in an 8x4 inch pan as you suggested to another commenter and that size pan is way too small. The batter filled it to the top, leaving no room for expansion. I had to take a lot of the batter out and make into cupcakes. It needs at least 9x5 inch

Hi! Was about to make this cake and stopped short. How many grams in your cup please? My cup is 250 grams. In your recipe it is 348 grams of cream or 1,5 cups. My calculations is 375 grams. Please can you help me out 😢

Go with exact cup measurements instead of weight. It will come out great for you. Sometimes i go with only cup measurements in this recipe and i always get fluffy and delicious cake, additionally keep an eye while baking. for some ovens it take around 40-45 min for baking. Happy baking.

I’m having to cook mine longer. At that time mine was still raw in the middle so, maybe 35 to 40 minutes.

Baking time vary according to size of ovens so best way is to check cake by inserting wooden skewer before taking it out... if it comes clean then your cake is ready otherwise you have to bake a little longer. Have a good day 🙂

Easy Cake... This cake did not bake on 375 of 25-30, lets try 50 mins. I had my oven light on checking for color (golden brown) and seen where there was no way this cake was going to be done in 30 minutes I up the time to 50 minutes and it can out great.

Hey, I made this with full fat whipped cream for smooth texture and to skip butter but If you are using low fat dairy cream then u will need to add butter and milk for smooth texture. You can give it a try and let us know how it went ..🙂 Happy baking 👍

Hey I never baked on steam but The stovetop steaming method yields equally yummy results as an oven-baked sponge cake. All you need is a deep pan with a lid, which closes tight to create the perfect steamy environment for baking. Cook on low steam for about 45 min and check it with inserting skewer. My mother still cooks her cakes in cookers and they are more delicious than any oven baked ones. Give it a try and let us know how it goes. Happy baking 😊

well i have not tried this recipe without egg , but there are some plant bast egg replacer available in market. You can add it instead of egg and it will give you same results. Happy baking 🙂

The baking time is not right. I poke it, and the center is very wet. I have to add more baking time and it's finally done around 1 hour.

As others stated, cook time is way off. 55 minutes in and it's still gooey in the center. I'm at 4000ft.

Aww ... Sorry to hear that... Did you use small tin and fill the batter to the brim. its common mistake people make... When the cake tin is filled too deep, it's very common for the exterior to be fully cooked whilst the interior is still raw cake batter.
