I appreciate you reviewing the palette on its quality rather than just saying "oh, it's repeats, don't get it." I don't have any ND shadows and just started building my collection during stay-home orders, so this could be a nice addition for me 😊

I really love the Zendo palette and I'm not going to be put off by all the negativity around this palette. Honestly, the color story is beautiful! I'm a sucker for a warm palette with a bit of blue. Gets me every time.

This seems like the go to palette for someone who doesn’t own any of Natasha Denona’s palettes. I think Zendo or Metropolis fit the bill, but Zendo is more affordable, has less shadows (redundant shades as well), and the shade range is not as bold.

I actually think these new shades combine well with the Bronze palette or Tropic or Metropolis. They don't look like exact dupes, but rather colors that will compliment the ones you have.

With the 3 looks Mel gave us a complete demonstration of the kind of looks you can get with all the colors of the palette. Loved all three! I also really appreciate her explanation on how to work with ND creme-to-powder formula, so so glad ‘cause I really had no idea how to apply them in order to get a good result .

I think she missed the mark by not releasing a MIdi Retro instead for summer. Could have been so unique for summer and also neutral enough for the less adventurous (me!) I also find it odd the Zendo claims it produces “natural looks.” I’m biased as I hate oranges/super warm tones and don’t use blues, but this palette is bright and colourful. Nothing subtle about it!

I am holding my breath for retro too. Not buying any palettes before that. Actually panning the mini retro like crazy, 2 shades almost gone, about to hit pan on 2 more. Got it last August. Only got the mini zendo after that in November and have not purchased any eyeshadows since! Feels so good to be actually using up what i have. So yeah, I know that midi retro would just get so much use!!!

I love the green eye look. I have the Melt palettes, and I love the green color stories, but the shadows are hard to work with and take forever to blend. I've been looking for a replacement with the same color story for quite a while, and I think ND Zendo is it.

Glad y'all are ok! If your airbag deployed, the stuff in there could be aggravating your throat. My husband and I were in a bad accident years ago, and I had that issue. Apparently they put talcum powder in there to reduce possibility of it catching fire, but I'm allergic to talc. Not sure what other things could be in there, but if it got into your lungs, could cause breathing issues. So glad y'all weren't seriously injured!
