Hey everyone! Just a quick note- I cut the bronzer/highlighter application clips because I used products from Ofra and I will no longer be using or supporting the brand on my channel. I learned about a photo of one of their owner’s making a hand gesture associated with white supremacy. I truly value inclusivity and I believe racism is absolutely wrong and should never be tolerated. I cancelled a sponsorship with them and I will not be purchasing from the brand or featuring their products on my channel moving forward. The reason why I decided to delete those clips instead of pulling the video altogether is because I wanted to share my true first impressions of the Natasha Denona Zendo palette. If I was to refilm myself using it, you wouldn’t be getting my authentic reaction as I tried to work with some of the difficult shadows. The only thing to note is that I had to end up using a little bit of bronzer to help blend out the shade Zeal in my crease!

@@lucypauwels993 Hey Lucy I recommend doing some research. There are instances where that symbol might simply mean okay but given the context of this particular photo it is most likely that is not the case. A quick Google search will definitely provide some helpful articles!

Having read your "pinned" comment, makeup now seems a little trivial (which it is really, racism MUST be stopped). However, you spent your time and money created this vid for us, so I'm going to interact in the comments section - as I always do 😊 I'm extremely disappointed with this new palette. Unfortunately, I can't even return it because I live in the UK and the postage costs (plus the postage to get it here) means it's not worth doing. Serves me right for being impatient and pre-ordering instead of waiting to see the reviews. I've learnt my lesson. This palette is awful, imo. There's far too many peachy shades and I can't see the relationship between this and the mini Zendo. Oh well, if ND gets it wrong sometimes then I won't feel so bad the next time I mess up! @@AndreaMatillano it’s the case everywhere in Europe, you can’t return opened cosmetic products because they can’t resell it. Idk how it is in the rest of the world. The Zendo palette didn’t really pull me in from the beginning. I only was attracted to the cool tone side and it wasn’t worth it for me so I am glad I didn’t buy it (still the glam palette is on my list). I see a lot of people who expect the punchy shimmery nd shades are very disappointed and I feel the same way. Bit I’ve seen many people why more mature skin saying this is exactly what they want and it makes sense. If you have other ND palettes than you have these colors. If you don’t and you are a beginner and want a more subdued palette this could be perfect. It would be nice tho if this was mentioned, but glad we have reviews. I must say I am disappointed in the Love palette. The darker shades dried out. I have to scratch the top layer to get pigment and I find the shimmers disappointing. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it was the second time I ordered. The first time I got it already dry so I got a refund

So with the matte cream to powder, you need to tap it in to place and then blend out once you have the desired opacity. They don't work as well with a back/forth crease motion

I love using the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation. I use the Elf Flawless Finish/ Beautifully Bare Foundation Serum SPF 25 underneath it and than combined the Pretty Fresh Foundation to give me a full coverage glow. I've tried the Natasha Denona mini eyeshadows in Jubilee and Ayana and the green shades I got an allergic reaction to.

Your makeup looks beautiful!! I will say that Patty has a great video on I believe 5 looks with the midi zendo pallette and she explains how to use the cream to matte formulas pretty well. I really love the colour story of the metropolis palette, because green is my favourite colour, and it has great neutrals too, but I’m so hesitant to spend my money on it because of the cream to powder shades. Maybe they’re better as a base/lid colour or blended out with a stiffer synthetic brush? It just sucks to be limited

I didn't have a great time with the cooler side of Zendo when I used it today, but I haven't had issues with the warmer/pinky side of the palette. I would say play with the other side and see if you like that side better!

When I use a messy mascara, I have one of those eyelid guard things. It’s like a plastic stick with a wide top, that has a hole for your eyeball and eyelashes to go through, and you put the mascara on up against it so you can really get in there and not get the mascara on your lids. You can also turn it upside down and use the top to protect your lid. The handle and all of the edges have kind of a lash comb on them too. It’s a great tool, and I think I got it from like shein or Amazon or something for like a dollar lol

Hey Andréa, thank you for the video! You look so stunning, the green-bluish shadow looks really pretty on you 😍 But still, I will definitely skip on the palette. For me it's still too expensive and I feel like especially nowadays you can get great colourful palettes for a way lower price. But it was still interesting to see that this ND palette seems to perform so differently than the others. I have two questions for you btw: Would you like to make a video dedicated to eye pencils/liner? Talking about your favourite brands (that also stay on the waterline lol) and the shades/colours you like the most and/or wear the most? I know you like the ones from urban decay and colourpop a lot, but ud is quite expensive and colourpop is kind of hard to get in Germany and can get pretty expensive too, so knowing beforehand which ones are the ones to go with would be very handy. And I'd LOVE to hear your opinion on that 🙈 Second question: You haven't tried out kaleidos so far, right? Do you see yourself testing something from that brand in the near future? Lots of love! 🥰

Hi Andrea! Love how you made the eye look pull together in the end, really pretty! I wanted the zendo palette so bad when I first saw it but of course it launched AFTER the VIB sale lol. Thinking about it later I realized what really kept drawing my attention was just the cooler half of the palette and I can't spend that much money just for 6 shades🤔. I have the sunrise palette and I think between that and the UD Wild West palette I can create similar enough looks. Speaking of, how would you say the blue shades in zendo compare to the ones in wild west? I haven't seen anyone do a swatch comparison yet.

I am so glad and proud of myself for not purchasing the ND Zendo Eyeshadow Pallette..! When I saw the colors, I immediately thought of Urban Decay Born to Run but still, I was driven to get the ND's for some reason. But thankfully, I desisted of splurging on it because of the mixed reviews. Besides, I hate the cream to powder formulas, so it was not that complicated to make a decision about spending money or not in that particular product.

Plumpers that leave redness - If you keep the lip plumper away from the edges of your lips you can avoid that, about the area that would be covered by lining your lips... I have rosacea making my skin really sensitive to the ingredients in plumpers, this definitely works and actually leaves you with a more natural-looking full pout without the discomfort/redness outside of the lip line.

Tarte made a foundation brush like the elf one you’re using for foundation, but it was expensive and not always in stock so I never got it. I’ve been looking for one like that for ages, cause I have that tarte foundation that’s just in a big pot lol and I hate sticking my fingers into it lol. It’s probably expired by now anyway!

Good thing I have only one Ofra product, a highlighter I got in an Ipsy bag. I had previously took Ofra products off my Ulta favorites list because I have way too many highlighters right now. I'll be keeping them off my list. My backups of Becca will make me happy. I remember hearing of similar stuff with Lime Crime and that's one of the reasons I won't buy their products.

When I used zeal I didn’t have any issues but I patted it down then blended the edges a bit instead. Then I took breath around the edges of zeal to help blend it out more so it might be a shade that works better using a different technique

Yes, I find that I have to use different techniques dependent upon the shade formula. I don’t mind it at all, though. Once you get the hang of it, it seems much easier!

I think that is the way to go. I watched Angelica Nyqvist's video and she hd no problem with the palette. She always emphasises that with shades like these, you should pack them on and then blend, applying them with a fluffy brush will almost always fail.

What bronzer are you using? It’s making your cheeks look super textured when you cut to the eyeshadow portion of the video.

I returned Zendo. I have the other mid size ones. This one creased like crazy and would not stay on my eyes. I never had this problem with her other mid size palletes. I think it was the cream formula. There are several in this one. Bought the LA girl palletes. Stayed on all day.

Sometimes the primer doesn’t need to be applied. Idk I liked the first time you did it. Yes, the brown is patchy, however, you always make it work out. Oh yes it looks pretty now. Mascara is nice and plumbing The lips are pretty, you just have one of those faces that make everything look great on you. Very pretty.

I was seriously considering buying this palette, and I think you just saved me $65. Also, I wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your stance on Ofra and your willingness to come out and say it. You could have cut the part with bronzer and highlight, stopped using their products on your channel, and never mentioned why. It probably would have saved you a lot of headache in your comments section. 💖🧡💛💚💙💜

I like to use pressed powder in summer time bc it's are not as heavy as a loose powder. I have an oily skin so unfortunately I cannot completely give up powder in summer time. 😏

The essence Matte powder is my go-to during the summer! It’s so lightweight but it really does lock things into place so well. 🙌

I've always found ND to be a bit overrated. It seems like the midi palettes are generally the ones with lackluster quality, but at $65 it should still perform a lot better, imo. Thank you for your pinned comment.
