This has got to be one of my all time favorite videos! So visually entertaining & the crayolas filled your gorgeous Litchenburg etching so beautifully!! I love it Tye... of course I may be a little partial being your proud Mama! 😊🌟👍💞

Will the crayon melt under the coating if the table is left in the sun?
@TyeMadeIt5 жыл бұрын
It probably would but it doesnt really have anywhere to go. That's why this is just an art piece. Probably not the best for a table. I would recommend epoxy for that
@moonshroom7115 жыл бұрын
Attention!!! do not use the crayon! the crayon does melt and expands and will ruin the table if in intense heat, nearly ruined my table!

How do you keep the pigment/wax from absorbing into the rest of the wood? Did you seal the wood before dripping the wax into the burns?
@TyeMadeIt5 жыл бұрын
That is a good question. I didn't seal it before hand. There was a small amount stuck in the wood grain but it wasnt too big of a deal

TyeMadeIt what kind of wood was it?

I wanna make one of these machines. Can you teach me?
@TyeMadeIt5 жыл бұрын
I actually don't teach people how to make then since it's very dangerous but there are people online that will show you how.

I’m curious as to the process in burning the design and what you had to do to make it go through like that since I’d like to do something like this for my woodworking class.
