😊 Great video, I'll bet the tennant was thankful. That blower wheel sure was full of Skank! I noticed in a tool review that DeWalt now makes a 20v battery Power Washer that just screws onto the garden hose and is adjustable to 550psi. The one I saw was DEWALT CPW550P1 It looks like it would be handy for your Van 👍

Pressure-washing can easily bend condenser coil fins; I'd guess that's why he may not have or want a pressure-washer (even a small electric one) in his van.

Used 700 psi battery-powered pressure washer from worx to clean E-coils and condenser coils for two and a half years never messed up a single coil maybe I was just lucky.

@@waltercampbell8620I've never used a battery power washer before, but have electric and gasoline. They certainly wouldn't have the power. I wouldn't try to clean old aluminum fins anyhow with one. The DeWalt review I watched indicated that they have four nozzles of different kinds and the output power is adjustable. Beats trying to clean something with a low pressure well hose!

It looks like the motor mounting bracket might have been clocked about 120 degrees. I don't think you could have bent that bracket given the difficulty you had in bending it back into place. Also, would the wiring harness that came with the motor have allowed you to extend that electrical connection you were having a challenge getting reconnected?

Good morning Curtis. Your so calm when things go sideways. I had a customer push her appointment 90 minutes forward after not answering my first call. I then told her shes already 30 minutes late and it will be 3 days before I can get back to her. I bet she's going to be answering in her underwear for sure in these summer temps.

OK OK I can’t see you’ve been in that bracket out of out of place not not it looks like a lease about 115° out so it be pretty you’d be a pretty strong man if you were able to do that but I know everywhere you go you do excellent work You get stressed but you always leave in a good way and I think the biggest reason is because you love what you were doing and you override a lot of stuff other technicians wouldn’t even think about putting up with. Just a thought,would antistatic spray/coating help with something like the hair and dust build up? Just a thought, i have a wood stove with a squirl cage blower on it and I have to clean it atleast ones a season due to dust and what i asume is ashe build up from cleaning out the box.

Curious as to how you get an entire air handler in an attic if you had to replace the entire unit? Peace at a time? Just wondering.
@Jwork01446 ай бұрын
Done plenty of attic installs. Depends if the unit can fit through the access. If it fits,just pull it up. But sometimes you do need to take the blower and coil out, and fold the actual body of the air handler to get it in the attic. Then assemble it once it’s all up.

This might not be the brightest idea. Since this is straight electric, would you be able to defrost the coil by running the heat strips?

Not without heating the whole house

Unfortunately not, it goes return air -> A/C coil -> blower -> heat strips -> supply air.

Thats what I thiught. I live in California but grew up in Michigan. The only form of electric heat that I experience was baseboard heat.

Thats rught. What I meant by not bright idea was water dripping on the coils and possibly causing a short.
