Guys she was American she was born and bred in Texas, she was about to go mainstream because she wasnt only loved by the Hispanic community she was loved by everyone, thats why she was starting to branch out in support of everyone, interesting fact is that she never moved away from the community that she was brought up in, she idolised her supporters as much as they idolised her, she made all her own stage costumes, she had her own fashion store which was run by the scumbag who murdered her, she was robbing them of thousands of dollers, thats why she went to meet her at that hotel to find out where all the money was going, that's the day she was murdered, there is a heartbreaking documentary on KZbin of her life and experiences that just tears you apart watching it 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Awesome reaction!. Yes she's originally from Lake Jackson Texas and raised in Corpus Christi Texas. English was her first language,she had to learn Spanish over the years. But I understand your mix feelings about Selena. Her joy and positive energy resonates thru the screen, but she's no longer here. Great reacrion Elie & Carol...there were 60k fans there for Selena's concert..she broke the attendance record. Michael Jackson had it before her.. Astrodome was a huge place. American football & baseball was played there. They brought her in a carriage because it would have been a long walk from dressing room for her. She designed that iconic purple outfit. She also did songs with mariachi..also Juan Gabriel songs & a duet with Juan (Ya lo se que tu te vas)...gotta check it out...carry on!!

Dude Selena was gonna conquer the world with her first English album “Dreaming of You” but she didn’t get to fully complete it because she was tragically murdered by that woman who was stealing money from her fanclub and her boutiques. It’s so sad and tragic but the album was still a huge success and it contained her classic hits “I Could Fall In Love” and the title song “Dreaming of You”.
