The ending always makes me emotional. This was her last televised concert and to see her walk of the stage at the end of "Como La Flor" was a reminder that a month later, she would be killed. R.I.P. to this beautiful, iconic woman.

In the early 90's, I was working for the feds in Texas, between Laredo, Houston and El Paso. The job had me closed up in a room with a lot of warehouse dock workers who spoke little or no English. To make the job easier on all of us, I played tapes of Selena and Los Bukis. I knew all the words to their songs, even though I had no clue what I was singing. The day Selena was shot, I was in Houston driving from warehouse to another and heard she was in the hospital. When I got to the other warehouse and told them what was going on, everyone came to the head office and was staring at the radio in shock waiting on a hopeful report that never came. Watching these videos still make me cry over the tragic ending to such a sweet beautiful talented woman. Rest in Peace in God's loving arms, Sweet Selena

"Disco madley" was the opening act for the same concert as "si una vez", "como la flor" and so on. The purple dress is iconic because she used it for this show only, this was her last show before her demise. Also her sister forgot to clean up the lipstick from her microphone after this show (the on time she forgot to do it) now that mic is worth millions of dollars.

Yes Selena was American born and raised in Texas her first language was English not Spanish, she loved disco music, she was inspired by black American singers such as Janet Jackson, Jody Watley as well as Madonna. And by the way this wasn't her last concert it was her last televised concert, and it was held in Houston Texas.

She was special, everyone loved her, from the youngest children to the grandparents. All the young girls wanted to be like her. Her death was very tragic and was felt by all the Latino community.

Selena is a Texas born native of Mexican parents and i was a us born child of immigrants from Mexico when she was taken from us... and there is a lot of tension between Mexico/usa for some time... but now all that time since she is not with us... she unites us.

Hahaha I love this video! I’ve lived Selena since I was a little girl and remember the day she was killed on the radio. They released “dreamin of you” in her honor her in the US. Let her voice stir your soul it’s ok!! Hahah that was always her Goal! She was such an angel! She always stayed after her performance to sign autographs and take photos with fans! She told young children to stay in school and Work hard! She designs her own costumes and was killed a little over a month after this Performance at the Huston astrodome and broke Michael jackson’s ticket sales records!!
