Indonesia became independent on August 17 1945 during the Japanese occupation, which won the Pacific War, defeating the Allies and the Dutch who had previously controlled Indonesia for centuries. However, after Indonesia became independent in 1945, the Dutch invaded Indonesia again for 4 years after Indonesia became independent. But Indonesia succeeded in fighting and expelling the Dutch colonialists and the British at that time tried to help the Dutch to regain power in Indonesia. However, Indonesia succeeded in defeating and expelling all western colonialism in Indonesia as a whole, and finally the Dutch kingdom at that time led by Queen Wilhelmina in 1949 gave up its power as a colonialist to disappear in Indonesia forever, because Indonesia had become independent from all western colonialism.

the set of the guardian of Nusantara clip is inspired by sukuh temple that located in middle java island. in that temple, there is a garuda statue that grabed snakes (symbol of sin and evil). garuda is mythology creature in a shape of giant eagle that always been guarding Indonesia since the ancient time, that's why Indonesia make it as a symbol in almost every aspect, and spirit of this nation. that's why in our Indonesian football jersey or any sport jersey there is always garuda symbol, that contains bhineka tunggal ika. it means diversity in one spirit for Indonesia .... thank you for the great and positive reaction

This is the true story of the mythological "Garuda" which is the symbol of the Republic of Indonesia. This story actually tells the origin of the Garuda bird itself, namely Garuda, which is the mount of the God Vishnu in Hindu mythology. In ancient times, Garuda Garudeyaata rode a horse to protect the archipelago which is the official symbol of the State of Indonesia. So AlffyRev tried to describe the figure of Garuda with a true story. This is not just any made-up story but a true story that originates from a mythological story. He conducted a lot of research on Sukuh Temple as a legacy of inscriptions... and... two snakes held by GARUDA found on the reliefs of the Sukuh Temple in (Gunung Lawu) Central Java. The story tells of GARUDA's struggle to find Tirta Amerta, to free his mother (DEWI WINATA) from slavery to the snake people. As far as I know, Alffy Rev absolutely creates works with high spirit, nationalism and idealism as a young generation of Indonesia who wants Indonesia to be more recognized on the global stage. His work always seems epic and masterpiece visuals, audio, effects, songs and storyline. His videos always contain metaphors that symbolically convey messages about nationalism. Always combining folk music instruments like gamelan is a combination of musical instruments that features the xylophone, metallophones, drums and gongs. The musical rhythm of the gamelan sounds clearly here makes it more enigmatic and mystical also blended with modern music. In his work always is based on the legendary and mythological story of the "Garuda" bird which is Indonesia's National Emblem called Garuda Pancasila which contains a shield on its chest containing 5 principles of philosophy and guidelines for this country. The mythological creature seems like the giant bird that Wishu (main guy character in this video) rides in his story of Hinduism mythology. The two snakes in the Garuda's grip are one of the Garudeya (Garuda) reliefs from Sukuh Temple, Mount Lawu, Central Java.Base on an ancient manuscript in the Kidung Sudamala. Garudeya struggles to find Tirta Amerta (8:22) to free his mother from slavery to the snakes. As methaphors symbolism that Indonesia and Garuda have the same spirit, namely wanting to liberate their mother/motherland from slavery/colonialism. It was from these ancient temples that the founders of Indonesia got their inspiration when determining the national symbol become to National Emblem. And Nusantara is originally the name of the territory of Indonesia in the past before the colonial era came. The history of Indonesia is very long and complex and interesting to explore. Nowaday Nusantara became the name of the new Indonesian Capital city (IKN). Also I guess his work this time is related to our new Capital City born too. Big applause dan appreciation to Alffy Rev who tried hard to produce classy and quality MVs even starting from 0 by selling his personal car on his initial projects several years ago, only for tribute to his country based on his nationalism and his love to his country. I think it is not a real footage from the archive. Alffy may need to clarify it. The official term for Agresi Belanda in The Netherlands is Politionele Actie (Aksi Polisionil) because Indonesia post 1945 was still considered by the Dutch as her most precious colony. The veteran uses the term Militaire Actie (Aksi Militer) denoting a more neutral stance, and, in a way, a recognition of the Aug. 1945 proclamation. Please note that even today the Dutch does not recognise 1945 as the year of Indonesia's independence but 1949.
