Even though Type Lumina's good because of the overall improvements, the title's meaning itself is lost. In the first place, Melty Blood's story centered mainly on Shion Eltnam Atlasia, and the person in question doesn't appear on the latest installment. Story-wise with the Tsukihime Remake, it makes sense, as she (and Len) still haven't appeared, but instead a certain servant(Saber) wandered... Nasu's love for Saber's that bad...

Sadly this is such an underrated fighting game. Bashed by the EVO crowd in 2009 and non existant knowledge of it in other countries. Atleast it has a loyal fanbase.

I'd really have to disagree to be honest So many pointless characters like the duos or necos, plus the overly air-based combat. I much, much prefer ground to be the main factor with air being used only occasionally

TylightDark The Neco characters are meant as A joke, the duo's play totaly different. But yes I can see why you'd have A complain about that, and it's totaly valid. I just feel that Melty Blood is the finer crafted game here.

I can't be the only one whose favorite opening is this? Type Lumina has a more technically impressive opening where character sprites cut into portraits smoothly but I find Actress Again's opening much more daring and symbolic. Maybe it's just the mid-2000s juxtaposition of anime characters and text and photographed backgrounds speaking to me but I just really like how expressive and story-rich it instantly looks.

god I love this game. I started with playing Act Cadenza on a retro-pi and I wasn't really interested in playing Actress Again thinking it was gonna be the same as AC but with some new miniscule features, boy I was wrong. I decided to pick it up to give it a try and my, god hearing the newly arranged soundtracks was breathtaking and I can't even forget about the moon styles that changed the way I play and added alot more enjoyment for me. Long story short, this game is goddamn awesome! I don't even think Type-Lumina will be able to top this masterpiece
