This is an unusual device. It generated radiation in the range of 230-290 nm. It was used to disinfect the skin after shaving for a short time, as well as for a light tan. The lamp operates at a frequency of 40,68 Mhz. The operating time is no more than 5 minutes, then a break of 10 minutes is required. This is due to the features of the device, it overheats. The generator is based on an electronic lamp (1П24Б). This device can still be bought in Russia at a price of 10 to $ 20. There is also a diagram of this device. The clear pipe is not correct to anywhere. The oscillator is made by myself. Read the description.

@@mtttony Correct! I do not have any knobs. even the handle supposed to be grounded, but in rf circuitry there is still a large potential difference induced between any conductor to ground. (Capacitive coupling)
