Finished the 5th and 6th grades at La Salle Elementary school and went to Horace Mann Jr High school for the 7th and 8th grades then moved back to the Bottoms in the summer of '87. The 60's and 8 Trays were going at it HARD in those days too ! I remember more than one rumble that shut the entire school down. There was even a teachers assitant that had 3 sons from 8 Tray and at least 2 of them attended the school. I was in the same 5th grade class with Rodney, the youngest son. Then i ran into the middle son Manuel in the county jail around '93.
