Melvin Farmer opened up to VladTV about meeting Tookie Williams' sister in the 8th grade and being around him ever since. Farmer explained that he was with the Crips since they were established in 1971, adding that he was already in various crews before then. He went on to speak about different sets identifying themselves before colors, and Melvin also spoke about adding "Gangster Crips" to his Eight Tray set.
