MeMe, I absolutely love your videos! I was raised in Maryland, the home of crab cakes and Old Bay seasoning and I just have to tell you that under no circumstances do we put onions in our crab cakes! Onion overpowers the delicate taste of the crab. You just can’t beat a Maryland crab cake!!

My grandad did the same. Boompa as we called him built a cabin on the Yeocomoco river. I had the blessing of crabbing and fishing with him until he passed. Such wonderful memories and we both 'Shined for Jesus'. "A thousand Blessings" to you and your family as my Norwegian niece likes to say.

That dock and waterway looks exactly like my sister-in-law's dock in Richmond Hill Georgia and brings back such wonderful memories of the southern hospitality, fishing, boating and crabbing we do when we go there. Do you think I can omit the frying and bake in a casserole dish? We love crab cakes but I either bake them in a casserole or in muffin cups. Thank you. I also add 1T Worcestershire and I chopped boiled egg but our recipes are very similar.
