This’ll prob get drowned by the other theories buuuuut- here’s my theory anyways ! I can’t tell if the older human with Purple hair is his brother or not because in the end it looks a lot like him, and he hugs his boyfriend, but in the beginning I’m getting more of a mother vibe? Anyways, let’s get too it. John’s mother died, and I’m just gonna say on his Birthday because of the party hat, and his father got angry, hence the abuse. A couple years later, his father remarried, and John met his stepsister (unnamed). I think John began too realize it wasn’t only him being hurt, and one day when The father went too attack the younger step sister, John finally had enough, and stood up to his unruly dad. After that, the three ran away together and never looked back. After they ran away, I’m guessing either the brother (or the mom I still can’t decide who) knew Sam. So, he offers them somewhere too live, and THAT MY FRIENDS is how John and Sus meet! OR after his mother died, he was adopted/put into foster care, hence everyone having purple hair but him, and the father was abusive. Annnnnd then it goes into everything else I explained. That could also fit the “mom” being the older brother in this scenario too. This is all theory. I am still hung over on the Older purple haired character!!!!!!!

Ok, so. J's mum died on his birthday, hence the crossing out of her eyes and his party hat. His dad blamed him(?) and abused him/J therefore got into fights. I assume that the girl with the darker hair and shorter height is his sister perhaps, or maybe adopted from the way she seems to be introduced. I'm guessing they are transgender, and the father does not like it: hence the father yelling at them and the transition from long to short hair and 'female' to 'male' clothing. J doesn't appreciate his dad disapproving so steps in to protecc and he attaccs his dad. They leave the home, his older brother with the black and purple hair falls in love with Sam (red hair, glasses) the younger transgender brother finds Sean(?) and J meets Sus. I think. Hehe... Either way, this was a really good animation meme!

Mom dies on mc’s bday Father abuses him bc of the grief of his (I think) wife’s death and perhaps even blames it on mc P meets mc and through her he also meets her bro (David) Mc notices p’s fam is going through some similar experiences (which I assume is how they connected) *update after seeing latest vid* aaaaaaalright seems like p’s fam ends up adopting mc (John) but mc still feels lonely and excluded from the world (I know hella angsty teen) Flash forward David meets up with boy redhead and p meets up with girl redhead (note that these people are apparently two different characters, unrelated to sus [i think, perhaps siblings]) sus brings dog Dog runs to mc Boom romance P.S. notice how p looks noticeably gayer as the video goes on?

yani iart I believe he was adopted to a new family in which he didnt feel like he fitted in until the father wasnt acting very fatherly to the daughter so he stepped up. The mother he was adopted by moved away and divorced the dad and thats how he met the love of his life miss you know who gonna eat all the strawberry cake ;3

@@lunahey4755 Мать мальчика умерла на его же ДР Потом у него начались депрессии из-за этого его отец бил его. Потом отец женился на другой у которой есть дочь и сын. Они там радостно проживают,но не пацан. Потом отец начал наезжать на дочку, но сын разозлился и начал защищать дочь. Потом дальше они начали новую жизнь самостоятельно. Вроде бы они покупают дом или же будут жить у друга я незн. И как раз там жила девушка и началась хорошая жизнь) Это я так думаю, так что не говорите мне что не в этом всё смысл)
