that is fairly correct, 'to' would require a verb in the infinitive form, which is not present. Memento is in the imperative form here, which means that this is a command. Mori is not an infinitive, which means no 'to'. but 'to' is used for infinitive forms, and those almost exclusively, as it is implied by the form.

The literal translation is "Remember your mortality" I learned it was something that a slave or servant was ordered to whisper into a commander's ear as he parades through a town after a victory in combat. It was to remind him that one victory doesn't mean he has escaped death forever, because a cocky leader often leads to a huge loss.

@IchibanShini actually, you´ve got it wrong. it litteraly translates: Memento: (imp. singularis, A, memini (to think of/remember)): (you must) remember/think of (of) mori: (ind. sing. 1 P(intransitive) or short way of: inf. P(intransitive), morior (to die)) I die or to die(also translated as: "dieing" or "death"). in latin they do not use things to indicate it is a word of speach. what is ment by this is: you must rember death. this was kind of a memo attached to the middle ages

There's some amazing editing work in this, but most all of the clips are taken from the animated masterpieces KARAS: The Prophecy and KARAS: The Revelation. As someone familiar with the original, I must say, the editing done here has taken the original and made something completely new, something completely different from it. And it's good. Very good. This must've taken forever to accomplish.

It's Latin bro. "To" doesn't exist in the Latin dictionary. "Die" is "Death" in the Latin dictionary as well. They used single words for what English uses many for. "Remember Death" is the "Literal" translation for a reason. But nice try ;)
