2 Little Mice deserve a spot with the best of them. Top of the game right now in my opinion. They're original, dedicated and highly skilled developers who put love and passion into each of their games and it shows. I implore anyone to check out 2 Little Mice, their games are all fantastic but this one takes the cake for me. Thanks for putting this on my radar Dave!

That is an extremely good corruption mechanic. Starting with one filled slot and watching it spread across your sheet fits the theme perfectly.

Thanks for the video; it helped me push to support them. Got the Deathless edition (the one you show with all 4 books) - an incredible piece of work, and I'm glad I got it. I'm going to run my first session in a month or so.

I've been searching everywhere for a TTRPG that captures the vibe of the Blasphemous games and am relieved to have come across this. Even though this is like being "Blessed by The Grievous Miracle" and not fighting as a Penitent, I am still pleased nonetheless. I will definitely be ready for this when it comes out, I'd back it right now if I could lol.

This looks like a cross between Plague mud and blood roleplaying, like Warhammer, and Bloodborne. Plagueborne? Yes please.

The concept & setting get an A+ at first glance... the system is a tad too White Wolfy to me, but seems to tie in well with the overall theme of the game, so maybe a B-. I'll have to pick up the quick start rules to give it a closer look. Not certain I want to back this yet, but I love dark, gritty horror games. Memento Mori seems to have a Darkest Dungeon/Warhammer kind of vibe. Oh, and I'd give the artwork a solid A, as well. Thanks for posting this.

I'm definitely interested in the setting, but I'll need to look further into the rules because I've accidentally backed games I later learned were Fate or PBtA based and I haven't been able to get into the "theater" style games.

This isn't how european medieval illustrations would look like, it's more an historism look, a very romanticised idea of how people imagine that something from the middle ages might have looked like.... I would call that neo-historism... due to the very modern interpretation. The game looks very interesting to me. Might back.

Sounds cool but a bit style over substance (30some lines of text with veeery wide margins). Looks like 200 a5 pages of memento manual translates to 40 pages of standard a4 rpg book.

It might be because there are only so many ways to portray a person slowly decaying physically and mentally into complete husk, but I agree that at least the Blood Corruption has parallels with Hollowing.

I find it interesting (in negative way) that the more people are working on RPGs the darker and more disgusting themes they seam to follow/incorporate in their work... Yes: "disgusting" - as I find themes and what is happening with the PCs in this game as disgusting. I wonder why people like to spend their precious time and imagine that they are beings that are slowly, but inevitable corrupted? Why do they willingly "load" such things to their minds/brains? I can't imagine it could by in any way beneficial to any person's "psyche". We call some things as "disgusting"... because well... they are. Why do some people are trying to embrace them? And Two Little Mice games: "Indiana Jons" -> "Little people in mysterious house" -> "Die Hard the game" ->... and now "imagine being consumed by devil influence" ? What happened with them? Of course: I'm not trying to tell other people what they should or shouldn't do with the free time. But I'm asking them to... ask them self if playing such themes/games will make their lives any better? For me answer is obvious:) But of course I may not see something about all of this. I have the same reservations about other games, like: Kult and such. Why someone would want to "load" such awful things to their minds is beyond me... I just hope that some of them simply don't like it for some sick reasons....

I guess you can heroically slay so many goblins before you want to try something different. The fact that on one hand we get games with jaded miscreants fighting a losing battle against the world, and on the other so many carefree nostalgic games inspired by the 80s pop up is a sign of ourselves living in stressful times.

I find it interesting that people need to criticize what other people find interesting. If it's not for you, ignore and move on.

@@MitWalker123 I don't think it is a good analogy in any means. Last time I played GTA game (probably the Vice City one) - the game focus wasn't about "murdering people" - it was only a possibility, a background. I.e. if you would start only murder NPC in this game, you would be bored like in an hour or so to death. Also the act of killing NPC's was quite abstracted, so I don't remember anything "disgusting" I this game.

@@ravenstudioproductions3139 Oh... don't take it so personally... :) I don't feel I was criticizing this game or people playing it. I just stated my opinion about themes in it, and stated my wonder why do people like/engage in such things/subjects. As I can't find a reason myself why anyone would like to "load" such things into their brains? But I also stated that I may be missing something:) I.e. there is a painting A, so people love it some hate it. Why shouldn't I be allowed to say that I don't like it and why? Other example: am I only obligated to prize every movie I watch or say nothing about it if I don't like it? I think the comments section is just for this: to state your opinion. Going by your approach I could also say: "I find it interesting that people need to criticize other people's opinions and not leave any input in the discussion. If my opinion is not for you, ignore and don't leave comment that adds nothing to the discussion." ;P
These are three GM chapters that changed my brain forever
