*FRIENDLY REMINDER* | Quality life doesn't come from superintelligence, wealth, or power. It comes from the ways that we live with kindness, love and peace.

To all my fellow philosophers remember this " grief is a part of death, but death Is not the end. It's the beginning of a new chapter, remember those who pass for how they live, not how they die, celebrate their life not mourn their death. All of us are here for a time and a reason. Make your mark by good deeds no matter how small. Death is another 'word' for life, because your soul is forever the body is a temporary vessel that endures to gain great strength not weakness. Weakness is for a short while or forever if you allow it to control you. Each of us have tremendous power within, don't let death control your fears of LIVING LIFE."

To the *worthwhile person* seeing this, your dream is not dead. Don’t allow the past and current pains and hurts stop and define you. You’re more than a conqueror. Rise up and put yourself together. Keep pushing your future depends on it. I wish you all the best in life ❤️.

Something that helped me make peace with this topic is the notion of balance. That life needs death, just as death needs life. Death provides nourishment for the living, physically. The body is recycled and provides food for the grazers. The grazers provide nourishment for the meat eaters, which include humans. And aside from the physical benefits, death provides the notion of a welcomed release. A time to finally rest after a long life. It's a peace that cannot be had in life, no matter how tranquil or pampered a life one has, it cannot compare to such a sleep. This is something I try and explain to people when this topic comes up, because I want them to be happy for the loved one that passes. The loved one gets to rest, it's we that must still live until our time. There is grief and deep pains, but we too will join them. Be healed with time, be grateful that rest is allowed.

to die is to gain, life without pain. God is real He sent His Son to show us how to live, don't ever let people show you another way for there is no other way!

I embrace death. I believe that I'll LIVE when I DIE. Free from oppression, free from prejudice and racism, free from restrictions of the body....

I don't fear death, I'm curious but not eager to have it answer many questions. I fear pain. Grief over the loss of my wife of 20 years has been the worst pain that I've experienced. I've shattered my femur, broke over 20 bones, had over 100 non-surgery stitches and had multiple surgeries in my misspent youth. I've never been wounded until my wife died. Up until then it was all in fun and chicks dig scars. Stoicism has been part of my life since high school. Ironically, I asked my wife for a new copy of Meditations this last Christmas since mine had been lost in a house fire a few years before. That was less than two weeks before she unexpectedly died in her sleep from the flu while taking a nap. It seemed like a mild winter cold. Stoicism has come in handy but I still need to work harder on it.
