I think I found this after starting 5+ generations gameplays that I abandon after the 3rd or 4th generation

​​@@someonewithaphone3108 it's a dumpsterfire of a mess situation. Even the team working on it found out they were fired after PUBLIC announcement of the game being cancelled. It was a good in development Live Simulator, we even had previews and it honestly looked promising. But the studio kept trying to cancel it until last weeks when they managed to shut it down for "good" Edit: apparently there were already play testers so it was really at a good release point. Yes the studio spent a good amount of money, but then decided to NOPE it out. I suspect something happened and I wouldn't be surprised if someone from EA had something to do with it (but this is my speculation)

If you click on the front door, one of the options allows you to disable certain types of visits including welcome wagons but I wish there was a way to disable them for the the whole neighborhood/world/game

You can, when you first load in a household click on the front door, go to no trespassing then set "allow solicitors" to "disallow solicitors" before they can come, even if you happen to delete that household then add it back or make a new one it will still be disabled, I can confirm this isn't part of a mod since I don't use any (correction) originally it says disallow solicitors but if it says allow solicitors when clicked it means it's disabled

The welcome wagon was accurate. I have an alien sim who just moved in that would run a food stall. When I saw it was a welcome wagon outside, I just tried to ignore them so that I could prepare food for the food stall. And honestly, the Sims 3 3DS game I played was very limited compared to the real deal that I know of/about from watching KZbin videos for The Sims. For example, there were limits on outfits, they lied to me by letting me pick eye colors, because no matter which one I picked, there were automatically blue and so were the fictionally-by-the-creator Sims (I don't know what to call them) or "Townsies" I think I remember created by the game itself and not one of my Sims. Also, I was only allowed to pick THREE character choices/three personality traits, I couldn't flirt at all if my personality was marked as "Unflirty", I couldn't go one time without cooking without burning it unless I made one of my talents a good chef, there were too many robberies by the Townsies that happened while my Sim was asleep; I couldn't make my Sim do anything I wanted him or her to do if he or she was too tired or sleepy (and I've learned that you can in the regular Sims by KZbin videos), they only let me add new outfits and new looks if I got to be a romantic couple with one of the made-by-the-creators-of-the-Sims-3DS-games 'Townies' to make a new one, and I couldn't save my name if I was out in the park with my Sim or if my Sim was outside walking far out from his or her home-area. Wait, also more, I think I remember. Also, I think I remember that if you go too long without consummating the marriage between you and your Townsie spouse, you can no longer be able to have WooHoo/sex with your married parent for the first time or EVER! Also, I think I remember also that everything able to buy cost hundreds of Sim/Sims money (dollars? Sims dollars?), no less, no two digit number or one digit number - no one, not even double digit number of money - to buy new things for the house! So I had to keep constantly finding jobs in the newspapers to get jobs so I could get a computer to find new jobs on the computer instead! -_-
