Oh, yeah. Love the pen and cassette tape cartoon, except we always used a pencil. I had one of those little water pistols, mine was blue.

Australian 80's child. Butter rum lifesavers? WTF. Why am I only finding out those culinary gold nuggets existed today? 😢 Torment me no more ghosts of candy past.

I don't think we got them in NZ, either. I probably would have lived on them.

Oh my goodness: - loved the rotary phone on the wall and you pulled the cord to talk in another room and definitely slammed the phone down and than keep it off the hook so people got the busy signal that was our way of ' blocking " people - Had those cups but also had McDonald'sbglasses with hamburglar, grimace, mayor mc'cheese, Ronald McDonald and come to find out ...there was lead in the paint - Knew the classical music on bugs bunny because my dad listened to classical and he loved that episode - I used a pencil to rewind my tape when after it got stuck in my tape recorder and i had to pull out And made mixed tapes - I am so sure i grew to be 5'8 because of flintstone vitamins - Loved gng to the mall on Saturdays with your friends and Sam Goody was the record store and you would buy albums or 45 speed records that you had to put a gadget in the middle of it to play it on you record player that you had to put a dime on the needle so it would not skip and get posters that glowed in dark but you had to have a purple light to see it - loved walking into class and they had the projector set up because you knew you were not having to do work I can go on and on

@12:01 45 year olds look old back then. I looked up Steve Martin and Diane Keaton and they were approximately 45 in that picture. People in their 40s look way younger now. I just turned 44 and my wife will be 47 soon and people think we are in our 30s. All of my friends look way younger, too. Why did people age so quickly back then?!

If Tia Carrera was the epitome of rock fandom, Why is it she never had any hits and never did anything worth while after Wayne's World?

My mom had one rule when it came to using the water pistols in the house. We were not allowed to aim it near the piano. Anywhere else was fair game.

I have no interest in watching this video, but based on the thumbnail, I do have an interest in knowing why anybody would refer to a still from _Wayne's World 2_ of Tia Carrere playing the role of the talentless leader of a rock band that massacres the Sweet classic _Ballroom Blitz_ as being in any way related to "rock fandom."
