Mango I can't speak for the rest of the world but in western countries we have integrated technology into absolutely everything, so I really don't buy into what you're saying. And see I don't want to characterize all technology as bad either, my biggest gripe is with social media and things of that nature. People are beginning to measure self worth on the amount of "likes" they get online instead of who they are as a person. The suicide rates and depression among teenagers and young adults has sky rocketed and is partially explained by this overwhelming need we have today to be validated by people over the internet. So although the video does come off super douchey I agree with the message.

I dont understand the whole "phones and internet bad" argument, because the internet on its own is an incredible thing. The criticism shoud be placed on the individuals that allow themselves to become reliant on their devices, and not use the internet in moderation. Some of this was just pure garbage, but some of it you just didn't understand, because you looked at it too literally. The 'privilege points' part was not actually saying that the dumbest kids get the most points in maths exams, it was saying that society and the education system tries too hard to help so called 'underprivileged' people, rather than those who do best, for example in the USA, it is quite common for Asian students who are far smarter than the black students that get accepted, to be rejected from universities, because the university says they have 'too many' Asian students and 'not enough' black students, and so they need to accept more 'underprivileged' black students rather than the Asians who do better on exams.
