I don't think Atlanta is serious about being a competitive franchise in the N.B.A. As Hawks fans, we can only pray for more capable individuals in the front office.

U don’t think?! Their front office is a revolving door. U don’t even know who 2 point the finger at bcuz they’re always in transition. They don’t put any1 with championship pedigree in positions of power from the head coach up. They draft great players like Trae Young (the list goes on) don’t build around them, don’t know how 2 win in trades, can’t recruit big time free agents (that love 2 party in Atlanta) bcuz they haven’t created a winning culture. That single great player they acquire through draft finally gets fed up, traded or doesn’t extend and goes elsewhere 2 be great. Rinse 🚿, recycle ♻️ and repeat 🔁.

The guy running the team is a 27 year old nepo baby, who hired fields and other friends of his to run the front office. They are acting like starting next year they haven't sold their draft picks to another team. Its real sad

Yeah, sometimes Terrence just goes way too far. I say take Sarr and dare him to sit out (if he doesn't want to be here - This isn't the NFL). Also, you've got to find someone who wants to give up those "picks" for the #1 pick. I think if that was the case Fields would have done that deal already. But, with the roster as is we need to take Sarr, develop Gueye and trade CC and OO. That would be doable.

Trade the pick and draft Edey. Edey destroyed Clingan int the NCAA championship put up almost 40 on him and he destroyed everyone else in the NCAA. He is like a more durable Yao Ming. I dont understand how he is slept on while you have a guy like Sarr overly hyped. Edey can be a generational talent.

If he trades that pick and any single player turns out to be very good, he will be fired and remembered forever as the guy who could have drafted that guy, and instead got a role player and a couple low future picks... like the way That the Hawks are remembered as the team that could have had Luka Doncic and didnt want to pay the human highlight reel.

They’ve managed 2 do it all of these years. A part of winning championships is having negotiators 2 win in trade deals. Jerry West made that happen 4 several teams. The Hawks need people in their front office committed 2 winning in that same way.
