❤❤❤On November 18th, 2024, at 8:30 PM server time, we gathered to prepare for a memorial walk in honor of our dear friend Ibelin. At 9:30 PM, we embarked on the walk alongside Ibelin's Guild (Starlight) and the event organizer, Reike. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us in person and to those who are watching this video. Rest in peace, Mats "Ibelin" Steen. It was such a special evening, i really enjoyed the feeling of togetherness on the server that evening. It was beautiful, thanks for everyone who came along. Most people were really respectful and lovely, RIP Ibelin

I was there on both memorial walks. And I was in awe by the experience. Im sure Mats would be proud in bringing this many people together in these dark days. My condolences to familiy and friends of Mats.

I have not had the honor of knowing Ibelin in life, but the documentary moved me profoundly. I, like many others, joined this event in his memory. Even beyond life, he still brings people together. Much love to his family, friends, and to the AD community

I am so sorry for missing this tribute to Mats. Due to my old forgetful mind but also to my connection issues right now, not allowing me to game atm I wasnt allowed to join but soon as i can join the game i will travel to Ibelin's stone to pay my respects, either as Horde (which i mainly am) or as one of my alliance toons. The Netflix film was so touching, i cried like a baby. But was also touched by how many people adored this man that had a big heart for those around him. Great love to Starlight Guild for being so special to Mats while he was with you. Great love also to everyone who paid their respects this day for his Memorial Walk. I was there for both the walks. I didn't play WoW back when Ibelin was still among us, but I was really moved by the movie, and I decided to join in to show that I too care, that we all care.

Glad this one went well despite trolls and some trying to make it about themselves. Who ever it was -.- that cloned Reike's event from the archives, copy and pasted her text, and tried to do it an hour early is a bit of a wrongen. Glad they removed it from the Archives atleast, maybe they realised it was a strange thing to do for someones memorial to a friend. If people couldn't make it they can always do the run another time without making an event for themselves to take credit. What does someone get from that?

I was there (Lavenya), on two walks. It was an amazing experience. So many people honoring Ibelin! On the first walk I was walking back from Redridge with a group of 13-14 people in complete silence! With torches in our hands. It was amazing! ❤❤❤

Was there for the walk never seen so many players in one spot outside SW it was incredibly moving I've played since 2006 on steamwheedle cartel realm didn't know Mats personally in game, but I remember the Straight Guild was on my server in the early days grouped with them a few times for dungeons and it was always a pleasure. Glad he found such great guild mates in wow Respect to them for organising this wonderful tribute. ❤❤❤. ( Raggs)

I was there too on the walk, it was amazing to see so many people. The lag was crazy but outside elwynn it was alright for me!

Unfortunately I was at the earliest walk that happened at a different time. It was very peaceful. everybody was great and we all spoke many tributes for Ilbelin. I spoke comforting scriptures from the bible and everyone was really cool. The only issue I had were the Trolls and lollers they were messing around and crashing the Game. But when we got to Redridge everything was okay and we had a good laugh and then we made our way back to Stormwind again. Its a pity I was not on stream with all of you but I was honored to do this walk with all of you for Ilbelin
