We were there Nov 26 to Dec 3. The renos are moving along at a "Cuba Pace" - love the beach - we had hardly any wind all week other than the last day. we will return (been there 9 times over the years) thanks for the update Mike. subscribed, liked and shared your video :) keep the review going. :) btw , have a great Christmas and happy new year

Our concern is the beach and weeds, cleanliness of resort, if there will be food for the family, and rum for me, we will survive. We are truly not picky and are avid travelers. "Please note Memories Flamenco Beach Resort in Cayo Coco, Cuba has advised that the renovations at the buffet restaurant “Selections” have been completed, it will now be available for our guests to enjoy. Also, the Creole and Mediterranean restaurant will now be open on a daily basis. Please note the Italian and Asian menu will still be offered on alternate days until January 08, 2025. All other services and facilities will remain the same".

The Flamenco is my favorite Cayo Coco resort. Just got back from checking out Caribe for my girlfriend and I for next April. We will be going to Flamenco. The al fresco room was nice but I have a soft spot for the Flamenco. How many times have you been to the Flamenco Mike?

Sorry man, I am never going back there, it was bad when I went there in Dec 2022. The rooms leaked when it rained. The lobby area was bad, it leaked also, the restaurants were bad, the only thing that was good there was the beach. There were too many flies in the restaurants on the food, in my face for me to ever go back there again.

I believe they are getting rid of Diamond Club to not be confused with the Marriott partnership with the non Cuba resorts. I do know, as a guest of many times at Royalton Negril, it has gone down hill alot since the partnership. Who knows how WestJet folds into the picture as TUI Vacations, since they owned 49% of Sunwing.
