This is sweet and touching but not with any melancholy. I was completely unfamiliar with the song until Dan brought it to my attention with this wonderful lesson. For that I thank you, and I look forward to learning it next. It is also a nice reminder that as players, you do not always have to worry that 'simpler' versions are somehow 'less' than more complex renditions. I prefer the simpler version, not because the chords are easier, but just how it sounds to my ear, and at the end of the day how it sounds to us and makes us feel is why we love to play, not the technical complexity or required skill set. I like this little song and the lesson greatly and am starting learning it today! Thanks Dan, another home run!

On which note or chord should I put the particular lyrics. Like senorita has very though rhythm, I have trouble to sing and play along like I cannot even sing when someone else play guitar. I managed to play thr capo version without a capo it sounds the same but much lower, and i also got an advantage because i cant sing really high notes. You are the best bro Edit: i forgot to say that the no capo version you can either strum it or just pluck it. I tried strumming it sounded perfect.
