Well said. They were the first movie couple that really struck me and one of very few ever whose characters stayed with me long after the movie was over. It takes deep chemistry to be able to do that. I think they would've been a great couple in real life.

I watched the film for the first time....it's not bad but honestly without Kevin and Whitney's chemistry it's quite a flat film. The soundtrack also elevated this movie.

I think the movie would have been great starring Diana & Steve! The times wouldn't have allowed an interracial love story on the big screen regardless of how famous/talented the stars. I think that's why Hollywood wouldn't touch it for so long.
