We go twice per year pre covid. Love the resort and staff. Can't wait to go back.

This was a very good and comprehensive review and balanced. It was worst when we went recently. Food was decent but not as bad as some people claim...but there was a a lot missing due to the food shortage in Cuba. Also they dont explain anything to you when you arrive and there is very little info..all the info you get form other vacationers. They have a map of the resort but you have to talk to other vacationers to know it exist. Its a great location if you dont want to deal with crazy early 20's party crowd...as its mostly older people and kids.

On the other hand, for those looking for a quiet place and trying to avoid the party crowd, it is perfect.

I have been there 2x. Have to take into consideration how much your are paying. Like they say, you get what you pay for. anyways, as said, I still went again, just because of their beautiful beaches. I can handle the things that were negative you mentioned. but if you want to relax, having 1 or 2 nights of dancing at the Market's dance club, I am fine with that. For more active fun, that would need to be elsewhere. I def would go again, I would alternate between 1 vacation where it's busy and this 1 for relaxation.

yes but for the same price you can get something better from memories at varadero

Any resort in Mexico is so much better. You can't even compare.
