Yes; so yummy! At almost all resorts we meet people who all say the same thing “oh I heard El Patio (or the Mexican) wasn’t good so we’re skipping it”. Im like why!? It’s all inclusive, if it’s that awful get up and go to the next restaurant. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm so glad you're telling people to not sleep on El Patio. I hear so often people don't like it and it was one of our favorite meals in Akumal. Maybe people think it's supposed to be like taco bell but it's fantastic. Love your videos!

This was my third time! I think they are very similar. If you just plopped me there I’m not sure I would know I wasn’t in Mexico. The beaches in DR are usually very wide

I actually liked the Mexican restaurant here more than I did the Mexican restaurant at the Secrets I went to in Mexico. I was just disappointed last time that the margarita cart didn't have Don Julio. And Jeffrey at the preferred bar...or as we called him Super Jeffrey...he'll do a number on you if you're not careful. He would make us a round of shots, and before you even had a chance to drink them he'd be making you another round of shots.
