So beautiful! I am going to Colorado Springs in a couple of weeks. Sure hope I get to see the beautiful fall colors. I am in TX and today will be high of 95. 😭 So not even close to fall.

I agree 100%, fall in the Rockies is special. Ever since the 80’s, It’s been my favorite time to visit. I just got home from 9 days near Crested Butte. Stunning is all I can say. Although, Vince caught more fish than I did. 😢

hi! my husband and i leave next week to travel to colorado from texas, we’ve never been. how long do the leaves stay like this?😍 i’m hoping to see these pretty colors, we don’t get that here, everything turns brown😂

It depends on the area you are visiting - the leave transition with the elevation fo the Mountains, higher elevation areas turn colors before the ranges. Right now pretty much every area is lite up with color - how long it lasts is determined by mother nature. Have fun in CO!

I’m in Colorado Springs and there are some colors here and there there aren’t a lot of aspens in the city but there are lots of trees like Redpoint maples that are red of course this time of year. You should see those, once you head up into the mountains you’ll probably see some nice color next week but I would hightail it up there. Enjoy Colorado Springs! And all the surrounding areas really we love Estes Park we went there last year and I would go back every fall if I could.
