I know this song since a long time and heard quite some versions of it. The song always touched me - sometimes more, somtimes less. But your version, Lucy, cuts through my skin, my flesh and right into my bones, every time! Emotionally I‘m a quite well balanced and stable man, but I need to listen to your „Memory“ when I am alone because I can‘t control it. When I had my first child 49 years ago today, July 21, this song was playing over the hospital radio speakers right after I had given birth to our BEAUTIFUL first daughter . I remember just crying so hard hearing this song after I had given birth & was ready to be in recovery for a little while as my Father had just past away 6 months earlier & I realized he would never know this BEAUTIFUL first child of ours, his grandaughter. Our daughter grew up to become a BEAUTIFUL labor & delivery nurse & now she helps in her City with teenage young women who are pregnant. I SOOO WSHED my Father could of met our first child born & ALL of our children we had been blessed with in the years ahead. You have performed this song SOOOO BEAUTIFUL. It brought back A BEAUTIFUL memory of our first child's birth & yet a sad moment too in that bitter sweet moment in hearing again this BEAUTIFUL song. Surely, no one could ever compare to Elaine Paige and Barbra Streisand in the performance of this song, or so I thought. But then along comes Lucy and just kills it, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with giants, as their equal, and at such a young age, too. Has there ever been a more moving rendering of the line, "Touch me. It's so easy to leave me?" Not for me there hasn't. She sang those words and the dam burst, tears of sadness, and of joy too, rolling down my face. Sadness of course due to the poignancy of the lyrics, and joy due to the remarkable beauty that is Lucy and her incredible voice.

Lucy is a "seasoned performer", in my opinion. Her unbelievable range, pitch perfect tone, great breathing control give me goosebumps. This young Lady has just so much talent. A voice that is so Beautiful. Their are other singers who have been around more yrs than she is alive that should be very concerned. Not only does Lucy have immeasurable natural talent but she is so beautiful . I do hope that she continues with her present career. She has so much talent it is unbelievable. I totally agree. And you think God is not watching. Watches us through the eyes of an angel. How can someone look so good and sing. Some people have all the luck. I would be totally Jealous of you Lucy Thomas, but I feel you and your whole family has a good heart, so I can't. If you were in my school, now university. You would probably end up having the biggest baddest BF, but am sure he would never show that side of him. Would protect you from the sidelines. All the ones that follow your music would protect you. Sorry, really do type a lot, when pure talent is thrown my way.

5smoothstones, yes, after her musical, "Rosie", debuts late next year, good luck getting tickets as every venue she takes this musical to will be sold out in minutes! Tickets will be scarce to non-existent! That's why I plan on getting tickets for her premier, BEFORE the hype hits (all rightfully so!!) and, for the lucky few who will be graced by the vocal purity and emotional bliss the one and only, Lucy Thomas, can create! They will be blown away the way ALL of us were when we saw our first Lucy Thomas performance and then had to replay it a few times to make sure our brain processed this correctly...........the 'magic' of Lucy Thomas
