I am so grateful to have been an instrument in God's hands to bless your heart.... When i recorded this song, the previous year had been extremely difficult, with my husband having cancer, and other very difficult times as well....I was more so looking forward to a New Day dawning as the new year was about to ring in.....and of course reflecting on the words of this song brought a lot of emotion from within my own broken heart at the time...Amazing how I never realized just sitting down, to record the piano, and add the other instruments for my own personal "musical therapy" session, would have become such a blessing to so many others. I am humbled and grateful.

Yes, this is me playing. I have a Korg Triton Studio keyboard..& whenever I sit down to play/record, it's like I'm the paintbrush & the Korg is the paint--all in the Lord's hands...He determines which instruments for me to record & how to arrange them. So I just sit down to a "blank canvas" & when it's all said and done, I'm just as equally stunned at how the Lord has put together each song. @@jacqueheebner7274 you have blessed my heart tonight. I was just talking to my husband who was actually diagnosed with kidney cancer the year I recorded this song. I was just sharing with him some of my heart. Thinking of Scott and how much he had hoped to get me in a recording studio. He called me an elusive butterfly that he hoped to one day be able to sweep up and take me to a studio. At the time I was in the ultrasound program. And here i am. Years later, working in a field that uses sound waves of frequencies above the human ears ability to hear. What irony. Been trying not to feel discouraged, wondering if the music has even made an impact and will I ever be given another chance to play again. And here God sends you to my channel to bring a word of encouragement. I still have some of Scott's emails saved. He truly was such an encouragement to me. And you have been too! I just want to thank you. From the bottom of my heart.

(My husband had been diagnosed with cancer, and our two children had been in the hospital for various reasons for an extended time...so I had felt so drained by the end of that year...) As I reflected on the New Year, I too was given a much needed sense of hope and the ability to look forward to a "new day dawning." That's where the inspiration to record this came from. @@RCS-CHARTS Oh I totally misunderstood! Actually the same process would need to be done. I'd have to upload the file, and instead of muting the piano track, I'd mute all the other 15 instrumental tracks that I recorded after the piano, and then re-record just the piano... I hope I can get this problem fixed...Corona shut everything down, so I never took the Korg to the repair shop..but hopefully very soon I can get it repaired... Thank you so much for writing! This has encouraged me to get back in there and start being creative again! :) Tammi

Thanks for taking time to leave a comment. Just to clarify....I am a wife, mom, and a diagnostic imaging clinician, who just so happens to have enjoyed playing the piano most of my life. . I was given a Korg Triton Studio Keyboard several years ago, while I was a stay at home mom. . I began to tinker around with recording multi layer tracks...so for example, this song has at least 16 different instrumental tracks (piano, strings, etc), all arranged and recorded by me, one at a time...so even though you may have only listened to a few measures worth of music here, if you had listened to the entire song, you could not even begin to imagine the "man hours" that went into recording this several minutes worth of arrangement. When I began to create videos and post these to this channel many years ago, I had absolutely no idea how many people would even find this. All of these songs have been recorded in my home, on the Korg, and were done so either for my church, or were born from a difficult time in my life, and I had just sat down to pour my heart out on the keyboard. I have not tried to promote this music, and have only wanted God to lead others here if it would encourage their hearts. I have shared these from the bottom of my heart, to hopefully be a blessing to others. I have never claimed to be a professional musician---Just someone who happens to have been given a talent to play and improvise, then create music...to hopefully share with others. Like I tell others, since my career is in the field of ultrasound, and I also enjoy playing music, I just simply enjoy "working with sound." Tammi
