Why the CS line of RAM is connected to pin no. 4 of the decoder... Pls can u explain this?

CS is chip select. It enables RAM block. Each RAM has many locations selected depending on Address bus content. Many RAMs can be connected but only one can be active at a time. For that we use decoder because decoder has only one output high depending on its input.

If 64K memory is given then how we can join the chip select , bcz all address bus from a0 to a15 are literally getting addresses from I.C , please say , waiting for your answer

If there is 64k memory, then for example we can use 8 modules of 8k memory. A0 to A12 lines will provide 8K address. A13 to A15 will go to 3x8 decoder which will give you 8 chip select signals. Hence 64Kb can be mapped as 8 modules each of 8K memory

You are right. But think about expanding . What if you need to connect such 8 memory chips? In that case you go for decoders to select Amy one chip at a time.

Lower 10bits (A9 to A0) are used for Memory address. Minimum they are all zero 0000000000 (=00 hex) and Max they are 111111111(=3FF Hex). Upper six (A15 to A10)bits are used for decoding and selection.
