Memphis-Shelby County Schools considers virtual teachers to fill vacancies

The three most basic necessities for Memphis city schools to increase the students learning performance are a love of teaching, love of learning, and a disciplined learning environment. This is a joint effort of the teachers, students, and parents or guardians.

If they simply paid teachers more, more teachers would want to come and work here in the city. This is backward thinking at its finest. The most valuable asset the youth can have is a teacher the students can interact with. I can't personally connect with someone I look at on a computer screen especially if I need help with lesson plans, or homework.
