I was glad that he used the Horizon shell as the foundation for his signature drum. It is a drum in the line that gets "over shadowed" by the solid shell N&C snares, but it is a great snare drum in its own right. I have one and I love it every bit as much as my solid shell Tulip. It is sensitive, crisp and cutting.
