I’ve always been so wonderfully touched by the sounds of the gongs and their effects on the nervous system, from pausing on thoughts by inducing a deep state of relaxation and meditation following the depth of sound to how shifted my whole being feels after the water in the cells have been literally given a vibrational tuning. I love it! My only regret is that there are no credit lines with the shop for me to be able to buy one at this point in my life 😊

Awesome explanation. I recently purchased the Pluto Gong. When playing I notice a snared sound. Also combined with a pulsating sound. Is this normal? Or could it be my technique? Can a Gong be damaged and not tuned correctly? Curious. Thank you.

I would consider the sun gong as an activating, stimulating principle; in opposite to a relaxing principle, lie its represented with the earth year gong.

With every respect to Jens' opinion on the qualities of the sun gong, for that is his perspective, the effects are highly personal and everyone has a unique preference, hearing range and perception of their surroundings. This is a brilliant channel for seeing/hearing the amazing qualities of paiste gongs and Jens an amazing soul - whatever feels relaxing for you will be the perfect gong/bowl/sound and in turn be amazingly healing. Thank you for the information. I am a complete beginner wIth the Gong. I have a 32inch paiste symphonic gong which I am loving connecting with. I have a gong stand created by Matthew Beavis which holds up to two 32 inch gongs what other gong would you recommend to complement the symphonic gong please, is there a 32 inch Pluto gong ?? Whaaaaa? Symphonic gongs are tuned to a note / key to be able to play in an orchestral environment. Keep the touchy feely marketing bs for the Planetary branded products. Jens is such a ham sandwich
