The 402 mod!! I did the same thing on my c5 allroad 2.7t(same engine as a b5 s4!) out here in the states. As im sure you already know, the lowest setting will ride a bit bumpier, so when friends/family get in the car i usually bump it up to the 2nd level ride height. Enjoy the car!

With VCDS you can enable things like Fog lights as cornering lights, control windows with remote, oil temp in MMI, needle sweep, coming home/leaving home lights.
@sylwiugta4 жыл бұрын
On the prefacelift A6 C6 can't do Needle Sweep, or oil temp, only on the facelift models. Cornering can't be also done,not even on the facelift C6.

Love the 4F. Owned a A6 for 6 years on KW suspension. If I knew how easy it was to lower I would have bought one with stock air. It was indeed easy to lower this model with VCDS. Have Fun with this car. Groeten uit Oost Vlaanderen!👍💪

Thank you for the kind words. I would like to point out that there are some functions that the factory scan tool does that VCDS can not perform. In a nutshell, the factory scan tools at VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda dealers call home to special servers to get data that is used for things like firmware updates, or security type functions (key matching for example). As you might guess, Ross-Tech customers will not have access to said servers, thus not be able to perform those type functions. Regards.

Love your new car! We had the same, you guesed it, in germany. It was a 3.0 TFSI though, but it was lovely to drive it on the Autobahn, especially goingt to Austria for skiing. My car is more recent but don't have all those options in the US like reading tire pressure or sitting low or high
@mik15ful4 жыл бұрын
only the pre 2009 models had it, afterwards they ditched that system and used the ABS module to provide the tyre pressure only, no more tyre temperature. The previous system was really nice and offered better info but i guess cost cutting was much more important. Only the RS6 C6 kept the old system, had both the RS6 and the Allroad and i liked the older tyre pressure system better.

to be honest. If i just looked at that car, I wouldn't have thought it was a high mileage :/ But that just means the car was taken after up until the end by the old owner/your dad :) It might be some expensive work that has to be done, but to be fair if the old parts lasted that long, the new parts should last just a long :O so it's worth doing in my opinion, keep going :)

Interesting video, Memphis. Speaking as an old fart, I prefer stock height. Considering the state of the roads here, stock height and smaller wheels/taller tires would be an absolute must. Lowered, it would never make it into and out of my driveway. A few years back the expressway between where I live and where my mother lives suffered pavement failure. The carriageway had been resurfaced and the new surface did not bond properly. For a week every time I drove through the area there would be 5 or 6 cars on the shoulder awaiting recovery with at least two flat tires. Talking to one of the recovery drives I found out that many not only ruined the two tires but had also bent or broken the alloy wheels.

That reminds me of my w124 surprising me 2 years ago. My car was parked in front of my house and i saw it sitting low as a lizard. Left spring perch was badly rusted and ripped off. That's why it was soo low. I welded it back to its place and painted it afterwards.

Hallo Memphis. Succes! Gr. Frans
