I dropped out after being told I had to take sexual harassment awareness to continue. So I left. I went for Diesel Technologies at a technical college. A 2 year class that you get the best brand tools for downward of half price. All the tools you would need to do your job as a Diesel Technician, a course that by itself would cost maybe 20k. The trade pays well but the fact that these schools can deny you further entry over what classes you don't take is a red flag. My take is if a school requires you to take classes not relating to what you want to do, don't go.

I knew a guy who lied about being trans(just because he knew nobody would question him on it, very telling eh?) just to avoid people attacking him for being a "straight cis male" then after he graduated he cut off his temporary friend group that helped him get into parties, and when one of them blew him up he just told him "yeah I told ya'll I was trans so you wouldn't talk down to me." and this chick legit blew him up trying to call him and get people to come after him XD but he was an Army Reserve so he had guns lol nobody was gonna "get" him. And that just goes to show how thin their ideaology is, when you avoid all of their ire by saying one little lie that their ideology does not allow them to question out loud. I'm not against trans people, and would even date one if they weren't a piece of shit. But there's also a lot of people who've come out to say that their transition was a mistake, making me believe that the "push to transition" is way to early and way too quick in more instances than we think.

As a young guy in his early 20s, I can give my two cents on this: Nowadays, the VAST majority of young women are not interested in marriage, nor actively looking to settle down. They want to be young, hot, sexy, enjoying hot girl summer, etc. Most of them have full-stop have drank the sparkling Kool-Aid from society, media, popular culture and the Education Industrial Complex about what they should pursue and prioritize. Getting married, finding the right guy, starting a family, having kids are low on that totem pole, and outright have become optional since for a lot of them, going after these things is "beneath" them. With the increasing rate of young women identifying as lesbian/bisexual, and them being the most socially, politically, and economically empowered than ever before, the mating crisis is here to stay, and will only get ASTRONOMICALLY worse.

ah but the certificate requires you to go to college and earn a certain amount of credits or you won’t be allowed to even take the certificate exam (at least in colorado). the law literally requires you to go to college if you wanna do basically anything. that includes special driving schools to drive a truck. the law literally disallows you from just taking an exam to prove you are qualified or know what you’re doing without going to some sort of school

The thing to do would be to do like in Europe or take a page from the military. In some European countries, as I understand it, will pay for medical educations IF you pass tests to show you qualify and will probably stick it out. Or like the US military you get your education and then serve for 8 to 10 years, maybe longer. Instead of military service they could work as a GP somewhere then go to specialty school (though the best could go directly there). In either case, if this was adopted, if someone flunked out or dropped out they would have to pay back what was spent on them. This would make screening important. Counseling would also be offered to keep them in or to return.

I had to take a required Sociology class but it may as well have been called "Anti-white male 101". I remember the prof for that class also had a major hard-on for Marx and liked Communism. Also, I remember one of the men's bathrooms had a basket of pamphlets by the sink that laid out guidelines for how men were supposed to act and behave around women on campus. It was typical feminist garbage, so that's where I threw the entire basket. Although, there were a couple of funny moments. Like the day after Trump was elected, I was walking to class and saw a group of SJWs on the campus lawn and they were standing in a circle, holding hands, and crying because Hillary lost. I was laughing so hard at that point.

I also was required to take Sociology. I was lucky, and probably because it was Nebraska, the teacher was actually really cool. He didn't care one bit about men or women. In fact, he did a little social experiment in the classroom to make a point. He asked everyone in the class to look around the room and try to pinpoint everywhere they saw the color blue. Keep looking to the point you could visualize and "feel the blue" if you closed your eyes. After a couple of minutes of this, he told the class to close their eyes. Once they had everything they looked over visualized he then asked everyone to think about where they saw the color red. Absolutely no one could do it. He made the point that, often in sociology, whether as a science or people taking on a world view, he said that there is very real danger in people getting so caught up in one world view that they will ignore everything else that is in the picture and be completely blind to other world views or ideas from people who are looking at the same thing. He also was asked a question by a student leaning left what kind of career a sociologist could hope to have and the teacher flat out said the only job prospects for sociologists is teaching sociology at colleges. He was a very chill and relaxed guy who kept things real.

Modesty is a good thing to have. You don't need to make 200.000 a year. You don't need to be in positions of power and influence. That's only what they tell you, so that you keep striving for something that you probably will never achieve regardless of what you do. I was like that too at one point! I wanted to be lawyer and make big money. Needless to say, I failed. A normie would say that I have failed at life. I have a nursing diploma but I have not worked in that field for over ten years. It's a worthless piece of paper by now. I jump from one job to the other, usually making 1600 Euro net a month. And guess what, I am happy. In a few days, I'm back at my assembly line job, where I work my 38 hours a week, while listening to music and thinking about the video game that I am still working on. When I come home, I do not have to worry about work calling me in on the weekend, because we do not work at weekends. Neither on hollidays. And we only have one shift. It's a lower class job, sure, but people these days are tought to have these unrealistically high standards of having to be someone who makes 400.000 bucks a year "by doing nothing". Okay, but you will probably never be in that position anyways. And I do not need to drive a fancy car to work. Wanna know how I get to work? I have to drive 16 km by bike everyday! I have to get up at 4 am as well. But I like it! 160 kilometers a week means that I am in fairly good shape without having to hit the gym every day. Got the covaids a few months ago and I barely even noticed it. What I'm trying to say is that you do not have to be rich or successful, in order to be happy and live a good fullfilling life. If you think you do, ask yourself WHY you think you have to earn 200.000 bucks a year. Because all the luxuries that you can afford with that money will not satisfy you forever. Eventuelly you will get used to what you have and see it as normal and not good enough anymore. So, in the end, it doesn't really matter whether you make 22.000 or 222.000 a year. You will still be equally unsatisfied until you change the way you think. Sure, you might be able to look down on us peasants, who only make a tenth of what you are making a year, and if that makes you happy, good for you, I guess.

College is not a magic button that grants success. It's a tool for people who know what they want and have the drive to achieve it. Most people lack that drive, at least so early in life, and we just screw ourselves over by denying this and pretending that everyone is driven and brilliant enough to be the next Elon Musk.

The whole "take out a loan and figure it out later" is such a dumb-witted "advice". Put it this way - would you pay $100ks for a "mystery product" that you have no idea how it works, what it does, but will "figure it out later"? No? You wouldn't? Then why the fuck would you borrow $100ks of dollars to buy something which you will "figure out later"? How does this make sense to anyone? This mentality genuinely pisses me off - it's why quality in education has dropped so low and has become worthless. You can literally take the same money, invest it with any basic bitch "safe" investment firm if you don't want to do any work or research yourself, and live the rest of your life (albeit in fair modesty) off the interest.

I was on Ritalin when I was...12? I don't remember exactly when I started taking it. 10, maybe. Either way, I was on Ritalin for three our four years. I finally got off of it when I was 14 because the shit turned me into a zombie. I took a pill and a half at lunch, and I was dead asleep by the next class. And, of course, would get in trouble for sleeping. Looking back, it concerns me a little because my mom has been a pharmacist for longer than I've been alive (I'll be 35 next month). Legit, I would never recommend Ritalin on my worst enemies. I hated being on it.

'men would rather play video games and watch porn rather than go to college.' sounds like if you want more men in college they should include more video games and porn in college. as far as the women going to medical school to snag a husband, that is smart. they get them early and they need to get the grades to get into the program. the workload is pretty high as well. if they stick with the guy then it won't be bad for the guy either. of course it isn't that great for society, as her spot takes a spot for someone that will become a doctor, not to mention that the college will get more money from a guy that will go out and make a ton of money and then pay the school as an alumni as a thank you for teaching them.

Speaking of doctors and house, on the show "House, MD", House let his buddy Wilson shack up at his house while he was going through a divorce. Wilson was a very nice guy, just doesn't have a backbone. House had two relationships. One where his girlfriend Stacey was responsible for what happened to his leg. And his boss, Lisa Cuddy, of whom he'd flirt with, lied to him about having a man at her house. He ended the relationship by crashing his car into her house. Anyways, back to the bromance between House and Wilson. After the two failed relationships, House occasionally was with hookers. House also went on a motorcycle cross country tour during Wilson's final days. Even almost 15 years ago, they were showing that bromance is more solid than current hetero relationships.

Having worked at colleges, women drop out and transfer less while grant funding and accreditation for the school depends on matriculation, graduation, and alumni engagement. If the school wants the ability to offer bachelor and associates degree and not simply certifications they need to target female students and get them in early because they are more likely to complain but stick it out. Think like smoking, or fast food. When you find your easiest to retain customer, you bleed their wallets dry.

omg, don't ever go to syracuse university. i literally dropped out right before the cov epidemic for the very reasons mentioned in this video. critique was a required class and you needed to take at least 18 credits of it to get the type of degree i was going for. the class was nothing more than an echo chamber of people repeating the same ideas over and over so the conversations never went anywhere. the few times someone did have a different stance/opinion on a topic, the class would quickly shift into a '1-3' vs 14 situation. instead of a debate, it was a verbal beating against the minority group in the room; they just didn't use any cuss words because it was a "professional" setting. personal experiences were thrown around like universal facts. i came from over seas and it was very easy to tell that all of my US classmates think their law and logic also applies outside their country borders when it doesn't. it isn't just topics like gender, but also any of the other stuff like race, US dem vs rep, lgbtq, etc.... it felt crippling to go to classes and agree with things i didn't just because i wanted to graduate. i'm not a guy, but the reasons i left are similar to why the men mentioned in the title are abandoning college.

I actually had plans to save up for rotor pilot lessons because I want to fly a helicopter. First I got my CDL, found a job trucking and then I was going to save up for a few years and take classes as I worked. Then my dad lost his job, my mom caught COVID, had a heart attack and was put on dialysis all in the same week. So I've had to put my plans off indefinitely to make sure they make it. I don't know any women that do this. In fact the new general consensus is that it's akin to slave labor for a woman to drop everything she was pursuing in order to take care of someone.

A main reason to go to university used to be to put you and your family in a better economical situation. Men used to go to get a well paid job and staus for better potential to find women, now they partially compete with them. Now they find better paid but less status job as plumbers.

Not even just the white dudes. I'm a black hispanic and I felt like an idiot sitting in my sociology class while the professor shat on men as rapists and sexist. I was like damn... Thats how it is. Then me speaking in my English class on a topic and giving a males honest perspective. Every girl in the class put me down. Every cowardly guy there averted their eyes from me as if let down by my answer. Then I shut them all up with logic and had the professor apologizing to me for her reaction and the women apologized too. But the men, the little cowards they were still didn't look at me because they knew they behaved like bitches in order to appease women. One of them after class came and apologized to me but it was such a bitch move he couldn't look me in the eye either. And that is most men in college. Any answer that women might oppose the simps and feminine men in college will hop over to aid them. It was pathetic and at that moment I knew this was where I did not belong.

Here's what I find funny: I was to poor for college. After I left high school I Immediately started working. Earned my vocation certificate in medical coding. Got my first job in less than a month after I got the certificate. I paid $3k in total for that, and am reaping dividends, because I also do contract work on the side. My best friend went the college route. He never found a job for his degree (he ended up being a lit major). He got his first job a year after he graduated doing basic help desk stuff in IT. His job MADE HIM get a tech certificate in order for him to get promoted. Its been over 10 years since then and he's still paying his college loans!

It's not only college that's bad, but high schools are becoming worthless. How many high schools just push students through these days? Hell! I'd trust a home schooler, a kid with a GED or equivalent, over a high school diploma. At least I'd know whether the kid had abilities or not. Fyi RGE, there are a few All-Men's colleges. Wabash College and Williamson College of Trades are two of them.

From there, I'm planning to go to Med school. If you want to go for a STEM major, try to find a way to get in for as little cost as possible if not for free. If it's not STEM or what you're going for is not in high demand, DO NOT GO.

For perspective, this still only applies to the US. In Europe, university is mostly free, the degree is NEEDED if you want to migrate somewhere else where you aren't taxed 50% of your salary. Personally, I only used my degree for a visa, graduated debt free and made friends and connections that will last for life. While the education by itself isn't worth it. It's still a viable option for men
