Negative people will make you perceive the world negatively. And while those things can very well happen in many situations, I thnk the important part is remembering that there are some women that don't requre favorable attention to get to know/form a friendship with you. Some that won't purposfully hurt your ego (granted, self confidence is an important thing to have as well). And while men and women are different, sometimes it's interesting to explore those differences because they're not all negative. At the same time, I wouldn't blame anyone for simply not engaging with the opposite sex if that's something that they truly don't want. What brings you happiness is what is most important. I am very introverted, so honestly, engaging with anyone can be exhausting. But, lately I've been taking leaps of faith to talk more and reach out more. It's uncomfortable, and I don't plan to become a total extravert, but I guess I hope I can change just a little. And hopefully, open my heart completely to someone again.
