As a young Muslim man living in the west, I do not apologize for the way Allah SWT has created me. Allah SWT created men this way and SUBHANALLAH he ALSO told us how to deal with it. That is how generous he is. Lower your gaze. Out of sight out of mind. Out of sight also removes comparison. Comparison is the thief of joy. When your gaze is just for your wife, you will appreciate her that much more and she will feel like the most special woman in the world. Male and female, save that eagerness for your spouse and the amount of looks to give and receive from each other will surely be enough. No doubt that in the US temptation is at all time highs, especially if you go to the gym unfortunately. I will have to get a home gym iA once I am married lol...

Hijab is all the more challenging in western countries , because of stares but as you said Allah will reward the deserving , hence the more challenging a task the greater the reward. I was feeling unworthy of myself when I used to go out in hijab and look like a complete stranger, even a visit to a park reminded me that I look like 'the other ones' while even Muslim men can gel easily in the western society. But then I remembered it's not the surrounding it's Allah for whom I am observing hijab , it's the order of my Lord the one who created me. How can I go against Him, how can I do cheating with Him? Muslims living in the West do remember one thing even if it's too difficult to hold on to hijab, do remember our reward stays with Allah ❤ those constant stares with what not intentions and annoyance caused because of it will be rewarded by Allah ❤

@@yvonaj3493 Yes 100% its different. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O young men, if you are able to support a wife, *get married. Verily, it lowers the gaze* and guards chastity. Whoever is not able to do so, he must fast as it will restrain his passions.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1806, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1400. Notice how he(saws) said marriage lowers the gaze but he didn't say that about fasting. To be clear, I'm not saying men who are married don't struggle to lower their gaze. Men in general do. However for men who aren't married the struggle is much much more. The following 2 ahadith are related to the general topic. Jarir reported: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about accidentally glancing at a woman. The Prophet ordered me to look the other way. Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2159. Buraydah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not follow one glance at a woman with another. Verily, you are excused for the first one but not for the second.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2777 Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani

Yes and hijab is insufficient. I say that because many Muslim women wear hijab while at the same time wearing Makeup, That is Tabarruj. A major sin. And then they go on blaming and yapping men to lower our gaze. Women should never give advise in internet or public. Once when Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) asked Sayyidatuna Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha), “What is best for women?” She spontaneously responded: “That no male sees her nor does she see any male.” Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was so elated with her apt response that he commented: “Fatimah is a piece of my flesh.”

I wouldn't say that women are eager to be looked at all; what women are interested in (before marriage) is finding her ideal partner. Women want to be married to a man they can like as it is a source of great anxiety whether or not she will be married to someone she finds likeable, because it is otherwise a fearful nightmare /prospect to be married to someone we do not like. Whereas, men are satisfied by looks only or if they perceive to have found beauty, then it is an easier journey or expectation to be satisfied in marriage. It is only in Non-Muslim societies that women are brought up to glorify or pamper her physical looks to entice /capture the man's attention quickly for temporary reasons or short timescales as these are the alternatives to marriage in non-Muslim societies.

@creationsoffarzid1154 Ай бұрын
@@mzageo : Like I said in my paragraph above that Non-Muslim societies raise women from child to believe that she has to look attractive in order to attract a man even for temporary relationships, so the married woman still continues because it has become the culture of Non0Muslim societies to look good irrespective of marriage and not because she is innately vain. I don't agree that she is born vain, rather it is taught (part of her education process) in Non-Muslim societies to look good always. And so the rate of infidelities in marriage are correspondingly high too.

Men can fantasize and "objectify" a woman's body even if a woman is very decently dressed, but I agree with you that by being decently dressed, a woman does not invite a man to attempt to actualize his fantasy. As a Christian Orthodox, I believe that the deeper substantial issue is to clean our fantasy and imagination from destructive lust, but I also agree with you that the outside form "decent dress" should confirm and conform with the inner substance.

As a non-Muslim I agree that we as men are programmed to be in a certain ways however, the problem is not that if you wear hijab we won’t have those thought or feelings especially in these days and ages that certain people s*xualize hijab also they might have respect for you but they will still see you as a tool like you said, the whole idea that even myself and almost all men trying to fix is we fix or rewire our programming system to stop thinking like women as tools, that why i don't agree fully with covering up or lowering your gaze because it doesn't help to destroy the temptation or those feelings or those certain stuff, I'll give you an example if my parents from a young age tells me robbery is bad because of certain reasons even if i grow up and i'm alone i'll not be able to do it no matter what because i'm programmed to understand the bad part of why it's wrong, but if let's says my parents tells me the only reason why robbery is wrong is because i'll go to jail when the law disappears i'll starts to rob because the only things that stopped me from doing it was because my fear from the jail not because I was a good person, i hope you guys understand my point

@@mariaelyoussif You do know what I mean. HIJAB IS NOT A STYLE. and by your face your make up is clearly visible. Lotion doesn't makes you shine!

@@mariaelyoussifsister, putting yourself out there for the world to see with make up while talking about hijab is a little ironic. Hijab is not just about covering the head. Scholars say that you should not be wearing attractive make up or attractive scent when going outside the house (let alone a video where you are literally the center of attention). Your beauty should be reserved for your husband and you put it pretty well, men are out there to look. I swear our sisters are sometimes too innocent to discount these little things that heavily attract men. Men are extremely visual and you have no idea what little things we find attractive Your message is great, just make sure hijab is observed properly. May Allah bless you and guide us all

@@mariaelyoussif You don't know what a scarf really is. You really don't know trust me. People around have made Hijab a fashion. A Hijab is an obligation not fashion. Fashion is the most non-Islamic thing in this world many think is normal to exist. About your make up I don't think any lotion or cream makes your skin glow like that. I can only reckon it's make up. If not then forgive me.
